I signed up via Classpass because I liked the name and the idea of a class called "In person Chill." Honestly, I've always been iffy about Yoga due to a not so great experience. However, my experience at this studio with Angela was very different. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly as well. This was the best yoga class I've ever been to. Every movement was intentional and guided well. The cues were great and understandable for this yoga noob. There was a lot of hip opening and for someone with chronic back pain, I appreciated all of the spinal movements and stretches. Angela provided great corrections and her voice was gentle and helped me to really fully concentrate on being present. I'm sitting here writing this review over an hour after class with my body still relaxed, almost as if I had gotten a massage. I will definitely be back.

Consent cards are a great idea.

Joyful and welcoming are the words I'd use to describe this gem of a place. I've been looking for a studio to call home since I moved from the Westside years ago, and this is it. A wide variety of classes from "chill" to "sweat." Experienced, encouraging, creative instructors. Amazing music. Beautiful space. Reasonable prices. It's the whole package! What a great addition to the Echo Park/DTLA community!

This is my favorite yoga studio in echo park. It has such a calming energy. it's a smaller studio per se, but the class is big enough to feel spacey and the plants make a big difference!

Was able to try a free sweat yoga session here one rainy Sunday thanks to health and wellness influencer thedimplelife cohosting an event with the Living Beauty foundation. The space is so gramworthy and the music was current jams which I totes appreciate when getting my sweat on. I'm jealous that there are 3 locations in the east side all just too far from me in West LA. Please open a 4th?

I've been going to One Down Dog in their other locations for a while, so I was thrilled to hear of this location opening in Echo Park so close to Downtown. I work in City Hall, so when they opened I was able to get from the Civic Center to ODD in about 8 minutes! Anyone working downtown this is the place for you. Plenty of street parking on Laveta Terrace and Court... Free parking too! The studio is beautiful with exposed wood and brick, new hardwood floors. Clean bathrooms. 2 changing stalls is great coming from work. Cubbies for shoes in the entry and cubbies for bags and stuff in the rooms. The studio has two yoga rooms, big dog and little dog. They also offer massage and other services. I've taken a few classes in Big Dog already. The schedule is great offering up Flow classes before and after work, and other types of classes as well such as sweat (like hiit with yoga) and chill for an easier flow. Check out their schedule as they have something for everybody. The people here make up a very welcoming supportive community I love so much.

Thank you ODD! The app is easy to you, and so many classes during a stay at home time has been awesome. The community support is well needed. The instructions are positive and give us a sense of being together. The family feel is warm and gives a place to be every singe day! You can order from there store to help you at home.

Me Im handstand celebrating 500 hours of classes!!!

I'd had a bad experience at the Pasadena studio with a girl named Megan, so I decided to try a different location, and I'm so glad I did. This studio is waaaay cleaner. The mat towels smelled fresh, everything felt sanitized, and the space was clearly well taken care of. My instructor, Jimmy, delivered an amazing workout, he incorporated moves I've never seen before and actually walked around correcting form, which is rare in larger fitness classes. He was fun, energetic, and really set the tone. Playlist was baddie certified! LOVED him! I also appreciated how well maintained everything was, soaps fully stocked, cozy studio rooms, and an overall vibe that felt intentional and inviting. I think this might be my new go to location. She was so charming and friendly and really made everyone comfortable. She made the class!!! She was a wonderful teacher who made learning easy and enjoyable. I would love to come back but it is quite expensive. Probably good for a treat! The overall studio is very pretty and aesthetic. The aerial room was a bit tight but did the job! Loved the openness of everything. The entrance and signing into the class was a bit messy and hectic, the entrance was under construction and the man at the front handing out the waivers and such seemed a bit overwhelmed. Didn't feel super welcoming. Streamlining and organizing this section would def help put clients more at ease since I was starting to doubt the class in the beginning.-BE SURE TO BRING A YOGA MAT! Otherwise you'll have to pay $4 to rent one. -The overall class was 10 minutes of warmup, 30 min lesson, and then 10 minutes of free time to record and practice what you just learned. -The AERIAL DANCE INTRO CLASS was a great class for those who have never done aerial or those who haven't done it in years. The man followed me around asking where i got my yoga mat and even when i was leaving asked if i am taking my yoga mat and where it is etc- very annoying, bizarre and frankly off putting as hell. he was anything but welcoming so i suggest you remove him from whatever he's doing in the front. never want to come back. apparently you have to pay for rental yoga mat. But even before I get to the class, the entry entryway and the vibe of the whole place is off because it's so worn out. i'm scared the fabric will fall off the hook and it's extremely smelly and overall unstable and worn out looking- not sure if i can trust the hanging to support me but that's the attorney in me talking. everything i see seems like a liability, especially their old hooks and the way the instructor walks around with a huge ladder in a crowded class. Next the class itself- instructor spent majority of the time making us stretch and adjusting our fabric. it was such a waste of time. don't do it if you're trying to get a workout in.
