First time here, but what a wonderful experience at this children's consignment type shop. If you have a child or grandchild and have lots of leftover clothing that they have outgrown, you can bring it in and have it all sold. Then you can buy the next size up. The organization is amazing with bins or rack for the different sizes. Plenty of "gently used toys and equipment that is all cleaned for new use. Let's face it, they grow up so quickly that nothing gets worn out so might as well use it all again. read more

Selling items here, you will never get what you think it's worth. However, when pur items it's very affordable. I am able to get my little one great things that are much cheaper than retail. read more

To make a long story short I am very disheartened with my first visit to once upon a Child, which will be my last. They sent me away on my first day, because they were too busy. But seemed understaffed and very slow. And on my second day I had to wait an hour and a half so I decided to return on the following day. Only to find out that they rejected for out of five of my items. One because of a recall which I understand I should have done my research and not believed everything I heard from my wife. And then return the other three because one they didn't know what it was and the others because I had minor stands but claimed if I clean them I could come back and sell them. Then worst of all they couldn't even give me a receipt for the one pillow they purchased from me for $10. They showed me an itemized receipt that they had but said they could not give me a copy. And said that I could take a picture with my phone, I like to keep those documents for tax reasons and just to keep up with my purchases and proof of my purchases. But now for a $10 transaction between me and once upon a Child I have no proof of the transaction but a crappy cell phone picture. I don't know seems kind of illegal to me I feel extremely duped by this child company and I recommend no one come here. read more

I have sold items before today, but my experience this afternoon made them lose a customer. I went right after they opened (12pm on Sunday's). The 3 or 4 staff members were all young- not usually an issue but 2 of the girls were complaining and not interested in being there. The red headed young lady waited on me and she was not friendly. She informed me it would be 30 to 40 minutes I guess we could call, I replied ok, I had errands and would be back. I came back close to 1pm and they were just going though my items. Finally, at around 1:20ish they were done. I believe the owner came in around that time, it he was not engaging with customers. I have read similar comments about this location, I should of listened and donated my items. read more

I'm pretty sure the whole staff is wasted on drugs. Went and sold today and even bought stuff and some of my items somehow didn't get rung up or put in the bag. (No idea what happened there) and took forever to count back about $40 in change. When I first walked in I got looked at but never spoken to like I was just suppose to know what to do. Then had to ask if they were taking some of the items because they were halfway behind the counter half not. Very strange and deer in the headlights looks the whole time. Won't be coming back. read more

My favorite used kids clothing store for my little girl. They have great sales, I wish I had found them sooner!

Now, before I start, I LOVE once upon a child. I've been to a few stores across central Florida. I will NEVER shop at the once upon a child in Daytona on international speedway ever again. They don't have carts, strollers or ANYTHING I can put my child in while shopping. My daughter is 18 months old and 31 Llbs. I cannot hold her with one arm and shop with another. I can't try to hold her hand, she'll have a melt down as soon as she can't go where she wants. I just can't fathom why a store that caters to children doesn't have shopping carts for the parents of said children. I will not be back. read more

Beware, long review piggybacking my previous review. For those of you who followed my previous post about my experience at Once Upon A Child of Daytona beach, this was my final follow up with them today. The owner himself finally called me around noon. He said to me that his bank statement for that day only shows 1 charge on my card and my accusations are false and in a very rude condescending tone at that. I proceeded to tell him that I have already been to my bank twice, 2 payments of the same amount were posted and withdrawn from my account, and I've already filed a fraud/dispute on the double charge. He then told me that was unnecessary since I was only charged once and he didn't know what else to tell me. We then argued back and forth for several minutes until I realized he was just like his employees and I wasn't getting anywhere with them and there was no point to continue. Once the conversation came to and end he threw in how they advertised their sale on social media and it in fact does state the sale did not include equipment and called me wrong AGAIN as to which I replied, I did not check social media, I came in because I was in the area and saw the huge 30% off sign by the road and as soon as I walked the employee said EVERYTHING is 30% and did not mention equipment in their bate and switch, and that was not my main reason I was continuously calling them about being charged twice... and he chuckled.... I then got very angry and told him to enjoy his google/yelp/Facebook review because he was getting another one and he said he looked forward to it and have a nice day ma'am. So... ladies and gentlemen. That is their costumer service for you. They have and will do nothing about stealing from me. They do not care they stole money from me. They are not afraid of losing lots of business over this. Please Do yourself a favor and never go to the Daytona location again. They are crooked, incredibly rude, and dishonest people and I am truly shocked at the way I've been treated the last 3 days. Thank God I have a wonderful bank who will right their wrong regardless of how they treat me. read more
