When we were reviewing our photos before ordering we noticed there was a lot of editing done. There were touch ups that weren't needed and touch ups that were needed and were not applied. We have darker skin tones and we were tremendously lightened up.My son was edited, I loved his pictures but he looked like artificial. We settled on 5 photos, 2 of which I'm not completely satisfied. But for the value I would recommend and possibly give another shot

I emailed them in October 2021 & they responded the same day saying they'd get the pictures in the mail the following week. It's Feb. 5, 2022 & I have no pictures STILL. I've sent THREE more emails asking where my pictures are & they haven't responded. I've tried calling multiple times, but the phone goes to their voicemail, which conveniently is full so I can't leave a message. They've stolen my $20, as far as I'm concerned, because I paid $20 for 2 pictures that I do not have & they refuse to respond. HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this terrible, dishonest company.

We used Gordon over the Christmas holiday week for photos of our 6-month old daughter and our family. The sitting went fine. It's kind of hard to get our daughter to smile when there's a lot going on and we did get a few smile shots, so we were happy in that department. We met with Gordon one week later to look at the photos and choose which ones we wanted. We also asked about digital copies. It was not including in any of his standard packages but he said he would give us a copies of the photos we were also going to get printed. There were also a couple photos we wanted cropped a little. He said it would be two weeks. Two weeks came and went. I called and my mother called. On the fourth attempt, my mother basically threatened to show up on his doorstep. He called back with a time/date to pick up the photos, two weeks later than originally discussed. No apology. No explanation. We'd wanted digital copies. We've worked with a range of photographers in the past and we've always gotten digital copies. In most cases, we've happily paid extra for them. We get this is how photographers make their money. Gordon provided us very low-res copies of the photos and refused to provide us with better quality electronic copies. To make matters worse, when we got the photos (my mother picked them up and I saw them later), I realized he did not crop one of the photos like I'd asked. So we paid $25 for a 5x7 photo that's pretty much unusable. And of course, he won't answer or return our phone calls. What was supposed to be the first professional photo session with our daughter turned out to be a stressful and expensive experience. I will never use O'Brien photography and I suggest you don't as well.

Rev. O'Grady is very professional. I was shocked to see this review. He first officiated at our…read moredaughter's wedding in Rochester, MI., five years ago and then at our son's wedding four years ago because we were all so pleased with his services. We had numerous compliments on both wedding ceremonies. An hour after I talked with him initially (because our children were out of state), he had e-mailed the general vows that he uses with the explanation that he is pleased to include any readings or ceremonies that the bride and groom desire. (Our children both chose a sand ceremony.) His paperwork included that he did not work with wedding coordinators (or aunts or others who try and direct the wedding ceremony). Our family had no problem with this. Both sets of the brides and grooms met with Rev. O'Grady prior to the wedding rehearsal to discuss the ceremonies and their preferences. He came to the wedding rehearsal totally prepared and his wife assisted him at both the rehearsal and ceremony by getting the wedding party lined up and started off on the correcct foot. She explained to the women how to hold the bouquets for pretty pictures and was wonderful. . Both Rev. O'Grady and his wife were extremely gracious and patient with everyone including the 3 little flower girls and ring bearer at our son's wedding. The reason that I came across this negative review was because I was googling his name to obtain his phone number .Our niece is interested in contacting him to officiate at her wedding and asked me for his phone number.

She's extremely helpful and very sweet. All of our Bridal Party loved him, too. They have been in weddings before, but said ours was very organized. He recommended having someone tape the ceremony, if nothing else, and I'm so glad we did. It's a fabulous video and an instant reminder of our beautiful day! It got a little windy the day of; he helped me when I got caught in my veil... I made light of it, and everyone laughed it off! DH and I both wrote a little commitment speech to each other (kind of like your own vows) and it was great. If you have the opportunity to do that, do it. I think that's what MADE our ceremony.

She is able to customize the background of the photos, the background of the printed photos, and shape of the photos- strips vs 4x6 print outs. She is amazing! The photobooth was the hit of our party. She even suggested that we use the brick background of the loft-space, which was absolutely gorgeous. She provided everyone with a print out, and also provided each picture individually online (facebook) and gives you the option of a jump drive vs CD. WOW! You seriously cannot ask for more. I also bought a Groupon, and I feel that these girls weren't ready to do a Groupon. They seemed intent on charging for small things because they wouldn't actually make money from the Groupon. As another reviewer said, Groupons aren't for making money, they're for referrals. Given their service, I'm not sure how many referrals they're getting. If you can't afford to run a Groupon, don't. I too was charged a travel fee for less than 50 miles, which was not what the Groupon stated. I actually was charged $75, after being quoted $100 and asking for a lower price because that's ridiculous. My venue is less than 50 miles from Ferndale. I decided to buy the expensive scrapbook option, though I would have preferred to buy my own scrapbook to use, but was told that wasn't allowed (wait, I thought this was my wedding!). I would have liked something that matched my colors or theme or was more personalized. I wasn't told what the scrapbook would look like, and when I asked I was told it would be black. No options to choose from, and if I'm remembering right the scrapbook was about $100. There are gaudy plastic crystals on it, really just not my style for something that's supposed to be a memento. What really pissed me off, was that with the scrapbook there was only one set of pages, so they ran out of pages for people to sign. The entire point of paying extra for the book was to get people's messages and have it be like a guestbook that I could look back on. However, almost half of my guests who took pictures were not able to sign the book since they ran out of pages. Thinking back on this now, I should have asked for my money back because of this. They should bring extra pages, they could even have in their contract something saying if we need extra pages we'll bring them and charge you $X. Instead, they just came unprepared and told me "too bad, we ran out." Lastly, the actual printouts have their company name and email address on them. I feel like I'm paying for their marketing. Tacky. These aren't business cards. Other companies offered customizable photo strips, or have your names and date on them. They also posted our pictures on their Facebook page. I understand that everyone wants to see them, but one of my guests was mad that it was posted publicly. I guess I'd have liked more explicit asking of our permission before they were posted on their public page. It's a little creepy that total strangers who "like" their page can see our intimate wedding. All in all, my guests liked the booth and had fun with it, but they would have with a booth from any number of companies. These girls don't seem to have experience or a handle on good customer service, so I wouldn't recommend them.
