I could not rate the food because they don't serve food lol but the drinks were good and they were of course holiday theme. We went for the Mariah Carey themed on the record event that I just opened up in Vegas. It was super cool! The decorations, photo opportunities, atmosphere, vibe, music was perfect at Christmas time! We had tickets however the time that was on our tickets did not matter so much because we were actually in there longer than expected. It was such a great experience. I would definitely go back and I would definitely love to start doing some more stuff like this. It would've been nice if they offered small hors d'oeuvres or finger foods, but I understand that would've probably taken a whole lot more staff needed so I get it. If you are a Mariah Carey fan or just love her music this is the place to go before it's over. I would definitely go back because it was beautiful. On The Record was a disappointing experience for me. The promotion felt a bit misleading--they market it as though the after party is being hosted by a famous person, and they hand out free entry cards to draw people in. Once inside, the layout felt a little all over the place. There are so many different rooms that the whole experience started to feel disconnected rather than exciting. Came for Mariah Carey's Holiday Bar!!! So glad the queen of Christmas was having a concert and doing this pop up bar. On the Record is a pretty cool spot with a lot of space inside. There was different spaces inside with nice booths, private room with bar, outside patio with heaters, and cool photo props and backgrounds for Mariah. Everything was amazingly decorated! It was $20 to get in and included a small cocktail as in my pics. Took a ton of cute photos here. The Mariah Carey postcards were awesome and took home to mail to my mom. At one of the corridors there was a free giant photobooth to digitally send it to yourself. Can't wait to come back for the next theme. This location had noticeably more seating, which made it much more comfortable to actually enjoy the space, and the drink options were also better with more variety. Had a recent work trip to Vegas and naturally, we had to have a little bit of fun, right? My Vegas colleague got us tickets to the Mariah Carey Christmas bar that's housed inside of the On the Record throughout this month, and we had so much fun! Check-in felt very secure with bag checks and metal detector checks, and our tickets came with our first drink free. Ascending up the escalator from there was a fun suspenseful moment before we were blasted with all things Christmas. They decorated this place sooo well! Of course they also had to play into Mariah Carey, because duh, and so there were photo ops where you could take pics with cardboard cutouts of her, in little aesthetic booths with lyrics from her music, and even a big wall with all of her awards. Can't forget that they played Mariah the entire night and every few songs they played the iconic "All I Want For Christmas Is You." Did I mention how big this spot is?! Every time I thought we were coming to the end, there was another door to open. I particularly loved the outside area with the fun double decker bus and the snow machine making it that much more fun and cute for photos. They had a holiday selection for the evening with about four cocktails. The drinks are definitely kind of small, and I think they should've invested in cuter glassware for the occasion, but the spiked hot chocolate that I got was tasty. If you're local or just a tourist having fun, it's definitely worth stopping at this pop up bar before the holiday season is over! read more

But my favorite spot is definitely outside where the DJ booth is in a bus. This club is so cool with space to roam, fun retro decor, and even a secret hidden speakeasy! This is a great place to come and listen, dance to different music. Having the 3 different areas with different vibes going on was great. Nice and clean. Love they change the decor to match what artist they are spotlighting. Going in they gave us buy one get one free drink. Which was cool. BUT they are very light on their pour with alcohol and for the price I paid, it was not worth it. I also just ordered on the same tab a club soda, usually places would give it to you free, and I get the times are hard but $7 for a solo cup full of ice for a club soda? Two sips and it was gone. Always a great time at On The Record. While I don't recall there being any food served here, they do have some great cocktails and entertainment. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The details in all the decor is amazing and always a delight when something new is discovered. The place consists of a few elements such as a big tour style bus, speakeasy record wall, classic car DJ set, karaoke rooms, and multiple bars options. If you plan on going for an official after hour or official party post concert, I highly recommend reservations, a table or planning ahead. I first heard about On The Record several years ago through Instagram - seeing that it was the after party spot for celebs like Bruno Mars, Usher, and even the Breaking Bad Duo! Although my visit to this speakeasy and club was long overdue, Im glad I got to recently celebrate my birthday there. I was blown away by how much action there was at this venue. They have a number of rooms playing different music - which were all poppin! What I like is that they cater to the millennials - lots of old school hip hop and r&b or just nostalgic classics like the Macarena! My party was lucky to get a karaoke room which was very spacious and comfy. They provided us with a comp drink enough to serve my party of 12. We had lots of fun going back and forth from the karaoke room and out to the different dance floors. What we also loved was the interactive elements of the venue including the Photo Booth and retro TVs - we spent at least a good half an hour there! The only thing that we wish was different was their closing hours - we had no idea they shut off everything at 2am. All in all, knowing this information, we'll probably just get there earlier. read more

Security here is a power tripping nightmare. Walked in when it opened. And was frisked and wanded. They confiscated my vape when going though security. It was a really cool bar/club with different sections that were playing different music but the whole event was pretty unorganized. They had the front skimming through so much paper to find names. They didn't have any scanners, long line and longer wait time because the staff didn't know who to let in or how to let in. Our party got split. Took about 20 minutes for the other half of our party to get in. Overheard the security and front desk frantically figuring out who to let in. No one knew anything. You could've honestly screen shotted a ticket and got in because they weren't even scanning tickets. Just a really disorganized event. It sucks because it was pretty cool inside but the disorganization in the beginning put a sour taste in everyone's mood when entering. read more

Came here on my last night being in Vegas, The dj of the night was very good playing a mix of r&b,hip hop, and other music. The bartenders definitely knows how to make a drink. Babbyyy, those drink prices are expensive. 2 tequila shots cost me $34 dollars. 2 cocktails w/ Casamigos blanco costed my friend $48 dollars. I had an amazing time and stayed until closing. This was our second and last time coming. We went to the NKOTB after party the night Donnie Wahlberg was there. My husband spent well over $2500 for a table, etc. Donnie walked around the whole club to get pictures with everyone and accidentally skipped our table, so I went to get a pic with him. He was at a table and I was standing in the walkway against the railing along with 20 other people including this young gentleman in the picture. He asked me if I had a table there and I said yes. He said, "no you don't". I asked him who he was and if he worked there and he said yes he worked there and was security. He implied I couldn't stand there next to him unless I had a table, which I already told him I did. Regardless, table or not, I can't imagine not being able to stand there without having a table as he stood there with no uniform on along with many others. Some people even blocking the walkway. He was very brazen and unapologetic. My husband intervened and asked what happened and asked the young man who he was and instead of giving us his info, he threatened to get security on us. Security backed him up and didn't hear a word we said. I believe his name was Shanz who absolutely refused to let me speak and interrupted every time I said anything to explain the situation. He accused me of yelling and pointing. I was speaking loud because it's a club and it's loud in there and I was pointing at this man to tell them what happened. He refused to hear it and told my husband I'm gonna have to go. As if I'm not allowed to be upset or be heard after this young man's harassment. Not one security guard apologized nor offered any supervisor to come speak to us to get a resolution. We even requested a supervisor after leaving the club and instead they threatened to call the cops on us because the guy came out of the club and I went to record him since no one would give us his info. They then told us his name was "Kenny" and he is a club promoter. As a promoter I do believe his job is to bring guests into the club, not insult them and scare them away. I feel sick spending that kind of money for that kind of treatment...And table or not, no one should ever be treated that way ever. Your staff completely ignored the fact that a customer was harassed and bullied for doing absolutely nothing. To pay $2500 to get insulted and get mistreated for being upset is absolutely unacceptable. We definitely won't be back and hope you educate your staff on situations like these so it doesn't happen again. Other than that, our server was amazing and was very sweet. We appreciate her attentiveness, etc. She told me anyone was allowed in the walkway and that he was wrong for doing that. read more

I went to On The Record after the Usher concert for the official after-party, and my female friend and I enjoyed ourselves. The venue has a main indoor room that has two bars, a small dance floor, and an outside patio area that has an area to dance and a bar. The venue also has a karaoke room, and several other rooms patrons could enter and hang out in. They also have a free Photo Booth where clubgoers can take pictures and have their photos emailed to them. I took a couple of pictures with a friendly woman I met who was accompanied by a man who said, " You look official," and he wanted to see me take my pictures. The woman and man are pictured behind me and throwing up the duce, which in my mind stood for Double R. The picture turned out great! On The Record Is a shift from the typical Las Vegas nightclub, and I recommend it, especially when it holds the official after-party of a concert held at Park MGM. read more

I wanted to reserve a table at a club somewhere for my husband's 40th birthday. Since we were staying at Park Mgm, I looked into getting a table at its homegrown club: On The Record. We've never been to this club, so I did a bit of research to understand the vibe. It looked very different from what I'm used to. No need to dress up to the nines, which was refreshing for a Vegas club, but they still encouraged smart casual attire. Basically don't look like a slob, got it. I initially reserved the Vintage Center Table, which I thought was cool because it's a VIP table for 2 located in the center of the main dance floor. Where in Vegas can you get a VIP table for just 2 people? This was exactly what I was looking for since it was only me and my husband at the club. When we were escorted to the Vintage Center Table, we found a couple already sitting there with bottle service. It wasn't a complete fail though, because ultimately we won with the consolation being an entire L-booth next to it and for no additional charge. The booth was clearly for a large party of 6+, so it was amazing to have that much space for ourselves. We danced around not having to worry about anyone, and we could each sprawl across an arm of the L-booth if we wanted to... and we sure did at some drunken point. Our table was located on the main dance floor, but thanks to our waitress and security guard who protected our bottle for us, we had opportunities to wander around. There was so much to explore! We found the hidden speakeasy, peaked into the karaoke rooms, and discovered an outdoor dance floor and 2nd hip hop room. The music in every room pretty much had everything I wanted to hear - from old school 90s r&b and hip hop to the club hits during the 00s-10s. It was a millennial's dream! read more

Came here for the Usher after-party. There were a line to get in but it moved fast. You have to take the escalator up. Once inside there's the main dancefloor and mini rooms. The ambiance screams photo-opts. Every room had a different dj playing music. I had a hard time finding a bar but security opened a door and I was able to go into one of the smaller rooms and order a drink. They don't have any sparkling wine so I got a tequila pineapple. Came here on Friday evening. It was about midnight already. The group originally wanted to go to Jewel nightclub for Usher but we didn't make it in time so decided to come here. It was about a 10 min indoor walk from Aria to Park MGM where this place is located. As soon as we walked up, I already knew I was not going to like the place. This is just my preference though. Everyone else liked the place. They play old school hip hop and rap here which is not my kinda vibe, crowd or music. The line was't long but it was pretty busy inside. They decided to get a table and split it, which was a huge waste of money for me since I barely drank. At first, we were at a table in the corner out by the bus which was a weird area to be at.
