It was a very pleasant day starting with arrival on scheduled time and the trip to my place was…read morewell over a hour. The staff Doug and Todd, introduced themselves immediately giving you the feeling that these guys knew their business. Proceeded to give a tour of each room and what was to be loaded. Once again they provided necessary insurances that the truck would carry everything. Then they brought their tools in, one person started to wrap all furniture in protective blankets, the second person started loading boxes. They loaded that truck to the rear door and included everything. They demonstrated not only strenght but, terrific planning skills. Further demonstrating that they are professionals and proud of their skills. They knew customer service giving myself a compliment about taking the bed apart. Upon arrival at the delivery destination again toured the building and planning the offload. During this process they even helped me offload a large Bar g que from my pickup. Each piece was placed where we asked and no damage to any pieces or the walls. Seniors Relocation Service provided and excellent moving experience and the price was appropriate. Six hours and everything was moved safetly and professionally. I strongly would recommend this company.

When we tried to move in to another condo, our lawyer informed that the purchase transaction had gotten delayed to the next day and we would not get keys that day. What a nightmare - all our life belongings were in a moving truck and we couldn't move in and had nowhere to go, or put our stuff! This is where The Six Moving absolutely saved the day. The movers called Zara and she quickly arranged emergency storage for our things for the night and they worked outside regular working hours the next day to get us moved in. It's scary even to think what would've happened had this option not been available. The following day we got the keys and The Six Moving showed up again and Murphy's Law was in full effect again - the moving elevator broke moments before they arrived. Elevator service technician was called but it was unknown when they would arrive. The Six Moving assured us they will stay as long as required until we can move in. How amazing is that? It really calmed our nerves and helped us keep our sanity. After a lengthy delay, the elevator started working again and we managed to move in very quickly and efficiently - late at night. Here's a fine example of paying a little extra but getting huge benefit from it. I'm sure many moving companies would have just left and not care what happened to us. Melody at customer service and was extremely nice and professional.It gave me confidence that I had chosen the right company in a sea of scammers and fly by night artists. Jan and James arrived on time and Jan put me at ease with his calming demeanour.Another guy with a Hertz Rent a Truck showed up claiming that I had confirmed with him (which I had not) and he scammed around a bit and then left.My movers were very fast and proficient and wrapped everything that needed wrapping like the couch and matress.Note that it helped big time that we had stacked all our boxes near our door inside and were very organized beforehand.They unpacked our one truckload at our new place fast and we were AMAzed at the price which was UNder initial estimate!!!Would I hire them again?Positively!!!

We hired Andrea to move us from Ontario to Nova Scotia. She…read moresubbed out our job without telling us to someone she claimed was 'her' driver but in actuality she had no idea who he was. From the very beginning of this to the end it was so terrible for us. Many sleepless nights because of this company. After speaking with 'her' driver and confirming that she gave up the job to him he also provided me with texts messages back and forth between them and her dealings and how to get as much money from us as possible. Eventually our things showed up with no help from Andrea what so ever ( she wanted to help and by help I mean charge us a lot more ) I can't help think that this was all planned. Anyways our stuff finally arrived after being picked up from Andreas storage unit and so many things damaged and many many items missing. I've reached out to her with no luck and I'm assuming she will read this and give some BS response. Be careful ppl she is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Also the movers she uses are hired from others and very sketchy. She will claim she is damn near 100% accurate with her quote and I can assure you she is very far from it. My fate has been sealed this is just a warning to others. There are lots of movers out there, don't be fooled by this company and especially Andrea
