I called the store to note the double charge to have the money returned to my account. The person who answered was kind and helpful explaining that the double charge could not be corrected until the next Monday. I also discovered that double charging seems to be an ongoing issue with this store. I am livid that this kind of situation is allowed to exist in Kansas. I am also outraged that the owners of this business adopt such a cavalier attitude with the trust of their customers money. Will I get my money on Monday? Maybe there will be another glitch and they'll offer another excuse. I don't know these people, but there is definitely some real shady business stuff going on there. And why should I have to wait three days for a refund in this day of age? especially since their equipment screwed me out of the money I need to live on? I am certainly not shopping there again. It's not worth the indifference the owners show to customers. It not worth the frustration and anxiety.

I didn't realize at the time The Twisted Petal was a combo flower shop and coffee shop. When I walked in I was unsure where to go to order flowers. The lady behind the counter must have sensed my uncertainty and asked me how she could help. I told her I wanted to order flowers and she went and got the head florist (who is also the owner, Debbie). Debbie was very nice. She told me she had to finish a funeral arrangement and then she would put a bouquet together. While I waited I ordered an iced coffee from the coffee shop side. They have a great selection of drinks! Debbie put together a beautiful bouquet! (All I specified was I wanted something bright & cheerful.) I know who I'll be contacting when I need flowers for my Kansas family. Friendly staff & great owner!

My husband went in first, then I followed taking a picture in the entryway, when I heard someone talking. The cashier, a middle aged man, was asking me, "Why you take pictures in store?" I said, "I edit for Google" (which I do, no lie). Then he got excited, wanting me to take pictures of the menu and the aisles. There was many options inside for this small store, but he did have plenty of snacks. I'm sure there would be more food options after the COVID-19 scare is over. My husband came out from the restroom, which he said was very clean. He had missed out on our conversation, came up and asked for two large cups following the sign posted on fountain machine. The clerk said he had to fill the cups because now it is law. Neither of us commented. We also picked out two Cattleman cheeseburgers. Back at the register and standing behind the tape on the floor, the same cashier asked, "What you drive?" My husband told him a semi. He looked at both of us shockingly and said, "What!!?? you drive truck and she work for Google? You make lot of money!". Now, I never said I worked for Google, but my husband had to jump in and say, "Yeah she does reviews for Google and Yelp". I wanted to hit him. I told the cashier, "I'm editing and reviewing right now at truck stops". Where the cashier responded, "You work Google AND Yelp? You make more money then him? I told him oh no, how could I tell him now that I do reviews and edits for free lol. I know I'm never going to see him again. We heated up our burgers in the microwave and I asked him if he was open 24 hours. He said he's open from 6am-10pm (so I do need to edit the hours) but I forgot to ask him if that was everyday. We left and I hit my husband and told him not to add information when he didn't know what the conversation was about lol. Now to the editing...
