Fast forward two years later and we need the cesspool inspected for a VA loan. I figured why not get it pumped after I had to dig it up again. Levi came out today and said no need to pump. The water/fluid was from the ocean and would just fill up again. This is our first house with a cesspool and he could have just pumped it like we requested. Shaka Plumbing may claim to be a 24/7 plumbing service but, in my experience, they are not. Our…read moreplumbing was backing up into our house. Google helped us to figure out that we should release the main drain at the outside of the home, which is brand new construction btw. Once we released the drain, all the sewage in the house drained out (It was gross; use your imagination here). Our builder even came out to investigate if his plumber was the cause. Nope. Turns out it's the main sewer line and only a professional with an auger will do. It's 7 o'clock on a Sunday, regular sh*t floating in .... and Shaka's 24 HOUR claim just aint so. Sadly, they're in good company as NONE of the 24 hour plumbers seem to work on Sunday evenings. Shaka DID call back and said that he would TRY to find "one of his guys" who could help us. His 20 minutes has turned into an hour and 20 minutes and no answer when I called him back. I'm guessing he couldn't find anyone. And the search continues...
