We stopped at Allgäuer Tor West while we drove to Bad Hindelang. It was mostly a bathroom break but…read moreit turned into so much more! When we arrived, there was plenty of parking. When entering, there is a dining space which is designed very comfortably and allows people to walk through without disturbing those eating. The restrooms were being cleaned constantly, and were very up to date. The overall experience was great, with well lighting and pleasant smell's throughout. The food r provided at the rest stop was also great, ranging from a few different items. We decided to get a vegetarian dish that resembled falafel and loaded french fries. It was delicious and filling, we shared it amongst 4 people. You could also purchase bottled drinks, snacks like chips and ice cream and chocolate, or beer and wine at the rest stop. Overall the value of the items was the same as other german rest stops, which tend to be pretty high.
