I ask for a time frame and he says "anytime before 5". Already I am wary, but give him the benefit since he may have plenty of work. Come Wednesday and did not receive a phone call all day from him, not a text or any message of apology. So no work done and appointment missed. Tried calling the next day and now no answer to get through. As much as I can give a person a benefit of doubt, this is just no way to run a business haphazardly as such. Better organization and communciation is needed simply to meet demands of basic customer service. I wish I could gauge some merit on electrical work, but this review is solely based on the fact that this business owner could not be bothered with my business. Hopefully, others have better luck.

My first problem was the power went out in half of my garage. Jaime's was my third call as I knew of no electricians. The first two could not do the work. I was very impressed with the quote and a quick start time on the it. The crew arrived when they said they would, dug a 50 foot trench, removed and replaced the old underground wiring . In addition, they installed a separate breaker for shed and one for the garage. This was additional work above the bid. When it came time for me to pay, Jaime said there was no additional charges. Now that's impressive. So, I didn't hesitate to contact them again when I was ready to have a generator transfer switch installed. Jaime came, did his inspections and gave me a very reasonable estimate. The main stipulation I had for having the work done was that I could run the a.c. with my generator. Jaime assured me I could. The crew came and completed the work. When asked if the a.c. would now run off the generator, they told me no. Our a.c. was separate from the house panel. A phone call was made. Jaime came to the house. He was very apologetic and admitted that he hadn't looked at our house panel and assumed it was 100 amp service. It was not, 50 amp. Jaime said to give him a week or so to figure out the solution and that he would make it right. And that is what he did. The crew showed up, worked all day and upgraded our 50 amp service to 100 amp. And installed the a.c. breaker switches in the house panel and transfer box. The cost to me for this was labor and materials only. This was more than fair! It is heartening to find such integrity. I applaud this company's professionalism, expertise and willingness to admit a mistake and make it right. That is owning responsibility. Who wouldn't want to do business with someone like Jaime's Electric?

The kitchen circuit breaker had failed to trip when my wife and I were simultaneously using over 20 amps in the kitchen. I replaced all the circuit breakers (which I felt was old and faulty) and outlets, and plugs, looking myself for where the problem was. I had thought it was in the wiring in the walls and knew I needed a professional electrician to safely do the repair/rewiring as needed, because it was beyond my own handyman skills. Cesar came, and he gives free estimates. He quickly found the wiring problem. It was something I had missed, a ground wire had somehow failed, but he repaired it quickly, right on the spot. Both Cesar, and his brother/assistant, were very pleasant and polite. I felt very comfortable and at ease during their time in our home. The cost was only $75 for the labor to repair the ground wire's connection. I would certainly contact him again should I need any more electrical work in the future.
