I've seen bobsled runs periodically on tv, but this was the first time I've viewed it up close. Pretty awesome, because the Olympia Bobrun St. Moritz-Celerina is the oldest bobsleigh track in the world and the only one that is naturally iced.
At the Horse-Shoe Corner, you can get right up close to the track and see the thick ice walls. I was wondering why there were so many people standing around, until I realized that it was currently the WM2013 (World Championships)! It was cool to see people cheering for their respective countries, especially at the Starthaus Dracula.
Unfortunately, I didn't get any shots of the bobsleds in action, as they zipped by too quickly for my camera. :P read more
