Most jewelers even if not faced with a fraudulent appraisal would allow for a return of a ring. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!…read more Don't be fooled by a half-decent rating on Google Reviews... prior to them deleting the ability to rate them on their Facebook page, they had a 1 out of 5 star rating there. My husband and I had what can only be described as the WORST customer service we've ever experienced. We ordered a birthstone pendant for our 5th Wedding Anniversary and were originally told the pendant could be made with 4 stones (the number of members of our family). Leonard (the so-called "manager") wrote down the incorrect product code so when we came to pick up the pendant, they had made the wrong one. They then BLAMED US for their mistake and wanted us to pay them even more money to correct their error (a "restocking fee" and S&H). It was a battle to have them not charge us for their mistake... and THEN Leonard informed us that the pendant we originally selected couldn't even be made with 4 stones in the first place. So because they couldn't produce what we originally ordered, we requested our money back (as per Statutory and Express Warranties mandated by the Financial & Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan) and were told that that wasn't possible. Leonard made it sound as though he was powerless to help us regarding a refund and that the owner is the only one who could authorize that. We asked for him to have the owner call us, that never happened - we were just told "he's semi-retired", "he's never here" (a lie, we've since learned) and that "he doesn't deal with customers." We made it known to Leonard and the other male staff member that pretends to be a manager that we would be willing to take them to small claims court if needed, and they told us to "do what we had to do." We reported this business to the Better Business Bureau (which they aren't a member of and won't be able to be with the rating they have now), and had to go so far as to consult Visa to have our money returned because the product we ordered wasn't provided to us. Visa upheld our claim because this CLEARLY isn't right, but had we paid for our purchase via some other method, we'd be out that money with a hideous pendant we didn't order that now has tarnished the memory of this anniversary forever. In a time where people suggest to "shop local", all we wanted to do was just that. Instead, we were provided with a garbage experience. We will NEVER be back to this business and have already advised all of our friends and family to avoid this business! The owner and those that we dealt with should be ashamed of themselves.
