Not only does it sell new and used books, but also has free books on hand, as well as the option to swap...how cool is that?! They have a great kids area to play at or just get comfortable with a good book in their bean bag chairs. Their is a couch area and tables on hand for the adults as well...and free wi-fi to boot! Nice!!! It showcases and sells local artists work as well as provides a location for community meetings to be held, open mic nights (stage built and ready to roll already), and different programs to help children as well as a place to get the community involved as a whole. Wow! I was very impressed at all the hard work that was put into getting this amazing place off the ground! This place has SO much potential to make an incredible impact in an area that is longing for and needing more! To never have had a store dedicated solely to books before in the town of Murfreesboro, NC is a real travesty worth correcting...and this is where "Cultivator" has stepped in to save the day! This family has such a heart for their community, and can't wait to witness all the fruits of their efforts come to fruition! This is an exciting new venture that I wish every success to the "Cultivator" and all that they are trying to accomplish with its ever expanding list of things they are offering and doing in our local community to truly cultivate and help the people within this wonderful town called Murfreesboro and the surrounding Hertford and Northampton Counties in Northeastern NC.

Three books cost me almost $50 so definitely pricey but who doesn't love a brand new book?

Hardcover and paperbacks were sometimes mixed together, as were the various genre, except for a few categories. It didn't really seem like an alpha-by-author sorting either. Even though the owner asked what type of books I liked to read, apparently understanding the layout and misunderstanding my meandering, I declined her help. I declined because I didn't really have a particular type of book in mind, but mostly because I usually find some real gems in layouts like CoffeeHound. It's like a super-mini Barnes and Noble, but with used books. The coffee bar is in the back corner, with reasonably priced coffee drinks. There's a large chair and a couple of small tables here so when you find a book, you can kick back, drink your coffee and enjoy the leisurely life.

Do not fall for the "free magazine subscription" SCAM. I made a purchase and the cashier offered "3…read morefree months of your choice of magazine subscriptions" I proceeded to ask, are there any secret fees/charges? The sales associate ASSURED me NO, there is no charge or fee. After the trial is over they will mail you a card asking if you'd like to continue the subscription and only at that time would you have to make payment if you chose to continue to receive the magazines. I never received said card and never thought I agreed to be charged for a subscription I didn't really want!! I am now having to go through the trouble of canceling subscriptions AFTER they have already charged my bank which B-A-M gave them the information too. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED I was mislead and lied to.

Love this place!…read more Great book selection. Sometimes it's hard to find the books you want. They have computers set up around the store that make life a lot easier, but sometimes they put books on display, and that's not registered in the system, so you have to roam the store looking for them. You can ask the workers for help, and they try their best, but usually they have the same problem you do. The service is wonderful, though, and they'll do all they can to help you. The real reason I give this place five stars is because of the cafe workers and the seating. The baristas are unreal. They know my name and my order, and the names and orders of several of my friends. They remember you, they treat you like a person, they go the extra mile. You can sit in the cafe and hear them holding discussions with customers while they make their drinks, customers they only know because they order coffee. Wonderful service. Also, they have a lot of seating in the cafe, and a lot of comfortable chairs around the store, which is what I really enjoy. This place rocks!

I saw Olivia Muenter speak about her new book Little One, and the seating and organization of the whole event was handled flawlessly. I thought it was very kind of the event to offer free tickets in addition to tickets that came with a copy of the book, as I had preordered from another store. I appreciated the consideration, and it made me want to stock up on other books from them. I didn't have any issues with parking at all- I got a spot in the large lot right out front. I was also able to choose from a variety of options for quick dinner stops before my event. All in all, a great addition to North Hills!

The staff is friendly, the book selection is diverse and plentiful + there are customer review/comment cards on multiple books within the store. It's nice to read reviews from other book lovers. Flyleaf also has a number of events every month. I recently attended the Penguin Publisher event. Snacks and drinks were available to those that attended the event and there was a raffle at the end. The event was informative and full of book recs from the Penguin Publisher sales team. Flyleaf is legit! I'll be sure to add this location to one of my favorite bookstores in the Chapel Hill area.

The prices are pretty average which is why I frequently just go to the used books which are still a bit high but good variety of titles ($3-10 range). Love that they have their own easy free parking!!
