Sens is a pretty quiet, pretty normal mid-sized town. It has its charme and a very nice cathedral, but besides that pretty normal. Also this place looks like just a regular fishmonger / seafood restaurant at a street corner. But the quality, the selection of this place is amazing, outstanding. All kinds of fish and seafood. You can just buy some to cook at home or you can choose from a menu to enjoy at its own restaurant. Also what you can do is choose whatever you like for a nice seafood platter. That's exactly what we did. It was almost closing time for the restaurant - even though the shop stays open after that. But we still got served our lunch. We had a table outside, our Bulldog was welcome as well. Staff was very friendly. Got us a complementary dip and some bread during our wait. But soon we got served our seafood platter of our choice: Crab, langoustines, shrimp and half a dozen of two kinds of oysters. Every single piece was a piece of excellence. Freshness and quality: All perfect and top-notch. Crab with hug claws, lots of sweet, tender and tasty meat. Wonderful flavours. The oysters were divine as well. The shrimps had a great size, so did the langoustines. And also here: cooked perfectly with the best and sweetest seafood flavours. Had a bottle of nice white wine with. Matched the meal perfectly. It isn't cheap though. Paid well over 100 Euros (wine and seafood platter), but it's a good price, it's a fair price. It's definitely worth it - if you love quality seafood, then this here is THE place. We will definitely be back next time in France. Highly recommended.
