I used to come here for lunch a lot before moving out of state last year. I came back today for their Halloween brunch with family and I was happy to see that it's still just as good. I've always loved their Reuben, and the Halloween French toast was delicious too. The restaurant had lots of cute Halloween decor out, and they even had candy treat bags at every table seat too which was such a cute touch. Other favorites are the sweet frites, chicken salad, and macaroni and cheese. Great service as well, just be warned it can get crowded pretty quickly. Definitely one of Macon's best restaurants all around. read more

This is my first time going to this restaurant. This is a really cute restaurant with a little bougie feel! We were greeted right when we walked in during the lunch hour. We were seated right away. There are plastic screens between the booths to help with social distancing in the front of the restaurant. Initially we had a male waiter, he greeted us and allowed us more time to look at the menu. Unfortunately he didn't come back! But we were able to get another waitresses attention and she took great care of us. She also apologized for the wait and explained the other waiter was used to working a slower dinner rush. She took our order and our appetizer came out quickly. It was de-li-cious! The pesto cheese bread with the Greek goddess dressing was a perfect compliment to the bread. It was cheesy and buttery and sooooo good. I will definitely order this again when I go. The superfood salad was on point. The salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. It comes with some kind of ginger dressing. Which was tasty as well. But honestly I didn't even need the dressing the salad had great flavor without it. I ate some of my friends sweet potato FF and they are prob the best sweet potato ff I've ever had. She said her sandwich was delicious as well. The strawberry cake wasn't on the menu but my friend heard from a coworker that it's a must try if you go there. And boy are we glad we did. I am or should I say used to be (because after today there is no way I will ever return), a regular patron at this establishment . Today I ordered the bourbon glazed salmon which is a meal I have ordered regularly. My meal arrived cold but I didn't want to send it back. However after a few bites I realized that my salmon was RAW in the middle. With this realization I requested a discounted price (not even a refund). The waitress became argumentative and advised me that I would need to order my salmon well done . I never knew you had to request salmon to be cooked well done or have it served RAW in the middle. I mean it's salmon it takes like 5 min to cook through no? Anyhew I'm not sure what is happening but quality and service is going down. read more

If you are in downtown Macon, this is a place you should really consider. The food and service is great. My wife and child loves this place. It has a nice charming atmosphere and the service by far is the best. Everyone needs to get the crap dip, it had chunks of crap in it with a wonderful seasoning. The bread that comes with it are so good. It's a great combination for the crab dip. The steak was juicy and cooked perfectly. My kid's chicken tenders was a little over cooked but she still enjoyed it. My pull pork meal was yummy but the flavor of the pull pork was lost with seasoning they used. I was still pleased with it. Our Fathers Day dinner was perfect. From the appetizer, salad, entrees to dessert everything was delicious. My husband had the ribeye and he said it was cooked perfectly and very tasteful. I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was authentic and delicious. He loved the banana cheesecake too. This is our new favorite restaurant even though we live about 40 minutes away. read more

Wow, just wow. I really enjoyed eating here. I came for brunch with a friend of mine and ended up having the superfood salad. I also ordered the TCB and an order of French toast to go for my husband. The server was excellent and everyone there was so nice. We sat there until 3pm in the back alone, not realizing they closed at 2 and no one said anything. I apologized because we literally had no idea, but they went out of their way to make us not feel bad. The superfood salad is probably the best salad I have had ever. It comes with salmon, feta, berries, and ginger dressing. The salad was so fresh, the salmon was grilled to perfection, and the dressing was creamy and tangy. I had a cup of coffee which was a little watery, definitely not my favorite. The French toast was good reheated so I can only imagine what it was like fresh. The TCB and macaroni were solid as well. Last night we took a stroll down the street to check it out. And by the end of the night, we were not disappointed. Thank you Niyah, our waitress, who made sure all of our needs were met during our visit! She was super sweet and very attentive to us (but not overly attentive) and all of her guests. We both ordered the NY Strip, he ordered it with Mashed potatoes and I switched them out for the sweet potato fries. For someone who never - and I mean NEVER- eats steak. I was completely floored! It was amazing! :) plus we got to enjoy the coffee gelato and from someone who's had plenty of gelato in Italy- Oliver's take on the dish was truly mouth watering. Oliver's is a welcome addition to downtown Macon! With an upscale but unpretentious menu and cool bistro vibe, this gives Maconites a fancier option without paying exorbitant prices. The pastas of the day vary with the Dirt Farmers' seasonal harvests. The pasta tasted homemade, and the vegetables and sauces topped it to perfection. The mussels appetizer with a salad would make a perfectly sufficient meal. The NY strip was just what you want in a steak dinner and hearty enough to please my husband. The very best thing on the menu is the Caprese salad. With fresh tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, pesto, and balsamic reduction, it is a shareable-size plate of summertime heaven. (I didn't share mine. I ate it all AND my entree. No regrets.) Oliver's has a good wine list and some cool cocktails, so it's great for a small group outing or a date night. The pasta is hand made in house every day. It was out of this world delicious. I would drive here from Atlanta again for dinner. Wow if I could give this hip little bistro 5+5 stars I sure would. The atmosphere, we sat outside, was perfect. Maybe except for the occasional,I need attention, guy who blares his stereo only on base or the motorcyclist who just has to gun the motor going by. The temperature outside could not have been more accommodating. Our waitress Erica was not just beautiful but she was quiet intelligent and was just top notch. I had the lemon drop martini and it was decadent. My friend had a margarita and enjoyed it as well. We started with Pesto Bread freshly baked. For my friend she had Shrimp fettuccine and I chose the Risotto. The chef of the evening Druise gladly substituted steak for salmon on my entree. Each dish was cooked to perfection. I like my steak rare and tender and he aced it. Dessert consisted of chocolate cake piled high with sweetness and cheesecake drizzled with honey and fruit. Oh my we will definitely be back. The rest is small, but I have eaten there several times on the weekend without reservation and there is always a table available (party of 2-4). Our waitress came by just enough times to make us comfortable, but not too many where it felt like we couldn't take a bite without her interrupting. The thing I liked the most about them is that they are not heavy. They're light and yummy. Also their bread & pesto appetizer is great. They make the pesto themselves so it's very fresh tasting.
