My father had a stone in his dish (I'm just glad he didn't bite hard), gave it to our waiter and he never came back and acknowledged it or address it). Some great dishes and some VERY average dishes. My father got the chefs journey vegan tasting menu which had "Petite Fours" for the last course and he received two TINY Turkish Delights. Very disappointing for the price. Lamb chewy. Shrimp very fishy.

The bed was big but not comfortable , there wasn't even a place to open a suitcase in the room. I wish I had checked before booked the room. There was no socket at my bedside and the light in the room was too dim. There was also no bed-side lighting. The outlet where all electrical appliances were plugged in was exposed and looked very cheesy. actually i was mad at myself for this; Why did I think that a restaurant brand that pays attention to very fine details would show the same care in accommodation. I was very cold at night and I had to get dressed and go to bed because there was no alternative other than a thin cover and I could not find an interlocutor because it was a small place. I wish I hadn't stayed and left the place with the memory of that beautiful meal I ate;)

It is called Nargile. I'm not a fan of this vapor or any form of smoking, but since I was in Turkey. I figured what the heck! I might as well chill, and try a couple of puffs. We found this place while walking around the old city shopping area. The very nice vibe and the staff is friendly. I enjoyed chillin' here and drank a couple of soda water while people watched. If you sit outside in the evening, you can also enjoy the view of the fortress in the back. Very lovely.

Since it was cold, we sat inside but it'll definitely be fun to sit outdoors since it's facing a large green square (of grass) and there's also a little park adjoining it. Loved the old photos of Ephesus hung on the walls and the tables too+wall decor reflects the old colonial spirit. We had the sahlep ( special winter drink) which is said to be the best ever and we can vouch that it was delicious. Also had a pastry which was yummy. Recommended.
