This place has an authentic look and feel to it. And like the rest of this small Northern Ontario town, it is charming. I was in to place a takeout order. The staff was friendly and extremely polite. I had the chicken wings with suicide sauce on the side, and a side order of fries. The wings were traditional style and absolutely delicious. The sauce was perfect. BOTTOM LINE: Get takeout. And stick to their pizzas. I really wanted to like this place and support the local community, but perhaps it wasn't meant to be. Upon entering I was greeted by the universal washroom smell. It's not the bodily excrement odour, but more the smell of stale water mixed in with cleaning products that tends to build up in washrooms. It didn't help that both the male and female washroom doors were wide open. My nose never did get used to the smell. :( I was enticed by their sign advertising "Southern Chicken" but it was more akin to a drier and sadder version of KFC. I saw some of the pizzas that came out and they looked more appetizing. I was in the mood for some poutine, and I gotta say, it was pretty decent with a solid gravy mix, though the cheese curds were a bit "squeaky". It was fairly busy, and the service was decent. I believe there's only one other option in town that will serve you draft beer while broadcasting the game, so at the end of the day, your choices are limited. read more

I am not too pleased with the service and treatment I received from the Owners at Olindos today. I found a chicken wing that was all sorts of colors, it was dreadful. I then posted on social media a picture of this awful wing and was left with a phone call from one of the owners. He was very rude, and yelling me so loud I couldn't even get a word in. So was his wife in the background. I explained how it had been time and time again that I got either bad service or bad food or was missing something in my order etc but I'm not sure he heard me with all the yelling he was doing to me. He then yelled at me again for the Fifth time that if I don't remove it he is suing me and that he knows my name and number. It was wildly unprofessional. I will never be returning. read more

Olindo's Pizza is a good restaurant i like it has good food but i don't like the frozen yogurt too much the taste is like normal yogurt but just literally frozen and also the crust is way to crunchy the green olives tastes absolutely terrible and when i go there the mushrooms are not cooked i like the dough but they over cooked it and sometimes my pizza is not cooked but its still good when its good and perfect so its good when its fine. read more
