Olesya is AMAZING! Her photography is absolutely breathtaking. The way she incorporates natural light and surroundings while simultaneously catching the love & all the warm emotions of the persons she photographing - stunning! I had been following her Instagram account for some time and knew I'd want family photos to be taken by her someday... so I reached out to her within days of finding out I was pregnant to inquire about newborn photography. She is incredibly detailed. We first talked over the phone to discuss exactly what about her photography I love, which I appreciated: not only to determine if she would be a good fit to photograph our little family but also to incorporate those things I love into the session. She provided multiple recommendations - from locations (both outdoors and studios), timing, color scheme, outfits. Speaking of outfits, she has a client closet from which my daughter and I borrowed some for our session. I was especially grateful for this because, quite frankly, I need help in the style department. Then, the week before, she sent out a form for us to fill detailing any specific things we'd want captured, anything we're self-conscious about, and even what music we'd want played. Our little love arrived two weeks earlier than expected, meaning she'd be nearly one month old at our originally scheduled date. I reached out to Olesya and she was able to speak to the studio and switch things around. We had our newborn session at Sparks Studio when baby was two weeks old. There were a few shots where we looked into the camera but mostly she wanted to capture us genuinely enjoying our new bundle of joy. Olesya made sure we were comfortable the whole time, from allowing time for us to feed the baby (she even captured shots of that too) to the temperature of the room. Within the promised timeframe, we received a link to our slideshow and were able to choose which collection to purchase. I was crying at how gorgeous they were! Of course, we couldn't narrow it down and purchased the collection with all the photos + the slideshow. Included in the package is credit for prints, which includes canvases and metals too! I will definitely be booking more photography sessions with her for years to come! TL;DR Olesya is a talented artist, who is skilled at capturing love & genuine emotion in her photographs. Olesya is simply amazing! This was our first professional family photo shoot and she made the experience fun, easy and memorable for me and my husband. Olesya is super easy to work with, she's extremely organized and took the time to get to know us so that she could capture our story. Our story is one of trials and triumphs. Our baby girl was born prematurely at 25 weeks gestation. She was in the NICU for 139 days. I missed out on the beautiful maternity photo shoots and didn't have the opportunity to get the perfect newborn photos taken. My baby was only 1 Lb 8 oz at birth with tubes and wires all over her. My baby had only been home from the hospital for a month in a half when I decided to reach out to Olesya for a family photo shoot. Olesya responded to my email almost immediately. She was booked but expressed the importance of capturing my baby at this precious age. She said she could connect me to a wonderful photographer who may have something available sooner. That's how I knew Olesya not only had a heart for photography but just had a pure heart. Not too many people that I know would offer clients to someone else. Luckily, Olesya contacted me the next day saying someone cancelled and that she could shoot us in the next two days if I was comfortable with that short of a timeline. I couldn't pass on the opportunity because I loved her work so much. She invited me to try on some dresses that same night in her Clients Closet and even let me bring home some outfits for my baby to try on. Olesya suggested three locations for the shoot. She went to the location we picked out the day before our photo shoot to check the weather forecast. She even sent us pictures so that we would know what to expect, which was heavy clouds and low tides. She even took pictures of the beautiful flowers that were in bloom. The morning of the photo shoot, my husband and I were a little nervous at first but Olesya made the whole experience comfortable and fun! She gave minimal direction and we just got to be ourselves while she captured the most beautiful and intimate moments. Oh, and when she captured a great moment, you knew it because she would get excited and let you know how beautiful the shot was, which got us excited too! The hour in a half flew by because we were having so much fun, enjoying our baby and each other, at times we forgot about the camera. If I could give Olesya 500 stars, I would. The photos alone speak for themselves, it's something out of a storybook. Even more, when you're working with someone who makes you feel comfortable, who actually listens to what you want and brings it to life, and someone who's professional yet personable, that's what makes Olesya the greatest photographer! Olesya is by far the best family photographer and I'm so glad that I've found her. Who knew that we didn't need great weather to get perfect photos at the beach!? It was actually sprinkling (despite the forecast saying partly sunny) when we started our photo session. Olesya is the best! She's a super talented photographer who is nice, friendly, very responsive, and all around easy to work with. From when I first contacted her, all the way through when she sent our finished photos, she was professional and courteous, as well as warm and knowledgeable. She sent a questionnaire to get details about each person's personality, as well as a list of the types of photos we wanted. She definitely studied the answers too, as she took all the types of shots I requested. She was also so helpful with wardrobe. She sent me suggestions for dresses I could buy and also let me try on some dresses from her client wardrobe. Once I figured out what I was wearing, she also helped me figure out my son and husband's clothing so that our outfits would make for the most interesting and beautiful photos. On the day of the shoot, she spent so much time with us and was really good with my son, who is notoriously finicky when getting his picture taken. I think we ended up spending 2+ hours with her. Finally, she turned around the photos sooo quickly and they were absolutely gorgeous. Our shoot was Dec 7, because I hadn't planned ahead enough and that was the earliest weekend date she had open. This was cutting it pretty close considering I wanted to use a photo or two for our holiday cards. I'd asked her if she could share one or two photos quickly so I could use them for holiday cards, which she graciously agreed to do. She ended up finishing our entire gallery, which had 100 or so photos within 5 days! My jaw dropped when I saw the photos. She made us look like the stars of our own magazine lifestyle shoot. I was hoping for just a few good shots and she got us 100. The pictures were all so gorgeous that I had a hard time picking one for our holiday cards. Everyone who I showed the photos to were amazed by what she did with the scenery and my toddler, who's typically makes for a tough audience. She was very professional with great communication leading up to our shoot and then afterwards too. She helped us with the "look" as we went back and forth on outfits and combinations, truly helpful and appreciated! I have 3 very active boys including 1 little toddler - ours was a sunset shoot so it was almost past my toddler's bedtime. Even with a slightly fussy baby she was able to get such amazing photos of our family. During the shoot I was sure we weren't going to get any good shots - how could we? My older boys were running around, my little one was getting fussy and needed snacks or was busy chasing seagulls, the 5 of us were scattered around the beach.
