The reason I gave him a 2 star is because he did not cut my hair anything like I asked! My hair was about 2" long, and I asked for him to neaten it up, a regular hair cut. I also asked him to leave the side burns, just below the bone. I was talking to a couple of other patrons, and was not paying attention to what he was doing. When all finished, I looked in the mirror and saw I had just a bit more hair than a brush cut! My side burns were cut to the level with the top or my ears! And my mustache looked like a caterpillar! I thought he spoke good English, but I guess he did not understand what I had asked for! It's May right now, the only plus, I will not need another haircut till Christmas ! The atmosphere was great- music, pool table, and comfortable waiting area. They also sell beard oil and there is a corner that looks like a tailor for men's suits. We booked our appointment with Jason and he did a great job! Long over due for a barber due to quarantine and all. $28 for a child cut. We will definitely be returning.

I started going to Scotty's shortly after moving back to Niagara Falls and trying other barbers in town. It is a one man show there as Scotty is the only barber and there is only one barber chair so if you are in a hurray this is not the place for you to visit but it will be your loss. Once you have been there he remembers who you are and how you like your hair cut. Conversations with him while he is cutting your hair range from bowling to golf.
