On a beautiful day, the Old Steine is really pretty, with its giant Regency fountain and green lawn. It isn't really a park, more of a mini common and to be honest, there's not a great deal going on here. However, it's a nice place to sit on a bench with a coffee and watch Brighton go by- the memorial fountain adjacent to the main section of Old Steine is pretty when its running too.
