We had the English room, which is large, very comfortable, and with a view of the town from one window and of the sea from the side windows. Our queen-sized bed was very comfortable, and in addition, there was a couch and coffee table, a loveseat, a desk and chair, a small fridge, a wardrobe, and a large dresser. With two heaters, we were able to keep the room nice and warm, even though it was pretty cold outside. The bathroom was large and the shower terrific. The location is superb. We had dinner here one night. My sea trout, which is like salmon, was very good. The dining room is cavernous, and it was quite cold at dinner time, and again at breakfast yesterday, but this morning it was much better. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in a delightful town. Don't miss the walk up over the hills toward Port Quin. We didn't have time to do the whole walk, but the views are fantastic. read more
