Not only do they have great unique outfits, but they only bring in limited stock in each style - one of each size. The staff was super helpful and not afraid to tell you, "oh honey, no! Not that one." As each item is purchased (at least during Christmas party season) they write down what you purchased AND which office part you are attending to avoid the dreaded "who wore it better" moment when you and a coworker's wife show up in the same outfit. I base this review solely on one hat... but it was a very fine hat, so I feel ok about this…read more My mother lives on Salt Spring and is well versed in the best places to find second hand goodies and stuff that might suit me, which means when I go visit, I have at least one day where we poke through all the little shops on the island in search of things to fill my suitcase with. It's surprising how many great finds you can scoop up in such a little place and Bohemia Consignment will be a go-to for treasures on my next visit. Why? One red hat. Now it's not any old hat - the hat in question was a red straw Andre hat, a little hat company out of Montreal that does the most amazing vintage inspired hats. Plus, they fit me like nothing else. Now, Andre hats are hard to find FIRST hand, let alone second and at a discount, so this was like finding a gold unicorn. I think I paid half of the retail price and took home a dress that matched while I was at it... happy camper indeed. It isn't the cheapest consignment shop you'll come across, but they have a good eye for things and it's well curated, so you can be confident that it's worth the slightly heavier price tag.
