If it weren't for the dogs we would not have found all the birds in the corn, maize, tree lines, habitat and grass. Beautiful birds. Fun shooting and safety was first and foremost an important subject. And no problems arose.

Breakfast bar was well stocked - sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, hash browns, hot & cold cereals and milk, fruit, juices, bread assortment, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and the waffle maker. There were plenty of tables and the food was easily accessed in an area separate from the dining space. We had a double queen room. There were bedside outlets, but no USB ports. There was a USB port on the desk lamp. The 28"ish bed was higher than I prefer and the edges were what I call 'roll off soft'. The TV was set with a disturbing perspective that did not match the size of the screen. The rolling guide was also unhelpful as it would not tune to a show. The room phone was blinking a red light. I called the front desk to ask what that was about and was told it was for a wake up call. I said no wake up call. An hour later the light was still blinking. I called again and was told the wake up call was cancelled but they did not know how to turn off the light - I did, I unplugged the phone. The main downer with this room was how low the toilet bowl was to the floor. I have bad knees and this particular fixture placement was a challenge. Suggestion for big name chain motels is to have some non-ADA senior adult rooms where the bathrooms are outfitted with tall toilets, grab bars in the showers, be they tub or walk-in, and 26" high beds. I am not keen to stay at this property in the future.

The location is convenient -- central to town and only a couple miles from the airport. Rooms at first seemed clean and up to standard. However, that changed quickly. One of our team members found a bug in his bed, and naturally, everyone's first thought was bed bugs. We immediately notified the front desk, but instead of taking it seriously, the staff brushed it off and claimed it was "just a stink bug." The photos we have tell a very different story. Bed bugs are a serious issue, and the complete lack of concern or urgency from hotel management was unacceptable. No apology, no offer to inspect other rooms, nothing. Because of this, we're in the process of moving our entire team elsewhere. If you value cleanliness and basic accountability, you may want to think twice before booking here. I want to be clear this was not in my room but in two separate rooms people in my party had.
