Stopped by on our last night before flying out. The atmosphere was fun and carefree, very chill and laid back. The outside area in the back was great our server was super attentive despite being pretty busy and had great recommendations for food/drink options. The food was really good, my only qualm was with the burger that I got. There was way too much cream cheese on it but nothing that couldn't be scooped off. I love that one can bicycle here easily along the crushed gravel path or along the paved residential streets. The back and front patios are fun and lively. The brewery offers many great styles and options within the styles. I prefer light beers, and I find that so many breweries focus on dark beers. I was thrilled to be drinking the popcycle blond, the OHSO brite pilsner, the orange pedal pale wheat ale, and the Boom! Dynamite grapefruit and mango pale ale. Why not five stars? The music can be a little loud, the front patio needs a few more umbrellas to keep folks in the shade, and the guac and salsa are weak. But brews that I can bike to make up for everything! read more

Ohso fun whenever I get a chance to visit this spot while in Phoenix! So many awesome things to say about this place that it's almost difficult to capture everything that sets them apart from other restaurants but here goes: 1. Their name OHSO - Outrageous Homebrewers Social Outpost. No explanation needed for a clever name like that. 2. Their Staff - I don't know if I've ever received better service anywhere due to their teamwork makes the dream work mentality! They share tips and don't think there is a weak link on their team due to that fact. Each server goes above and beyond to ensure you are having fun and never have an empty drink. 3. Happy Hour - $8 drinks & vino all day and a happy hour food menu that starts at 3 pm. The cheese curds are to die for as well as the brisket fries 4. Pet Friendly - Any restaurant who allows your fur baby to accompany you as a plus one should receive an award :) your dog can hang out with you on the back patio and also will receive dog treats custom packaged for little and big dogs! They also have a wall of fame for their doggie regulars and it's super cute. Nice touch! 5. Menu - any and everything on the menu tastes as good as it's described and is sure to not disappoint anyone. My favorite item is the Ensalada Del Sol salad. The chicken is grilled to perfection and the salad dressing is the perfect flavor complement for all the yummy ingredients. . 6. Beggars Can Be Choosers (Diet Restructions) - if you are gluten free, vegan, or just high maintenance they can accompany any of your wildest requests and promise to deliver to your standards. OHSO's definitely one of the top neighborhood places for brunch and dogs...at the same time. I've been here several times and have always had positive experiences. The food has always been delicious and fresh (for dinner and brunch) and the ambience is comfortable/casual. The brunch deal of a dish and a mimosa for $10 is honestly unbeatable. They are not known to do reservations, but this time around they were kind enough to hold a table for us since it was a group of 13. Also, it is important for me to note that one of my friends got the Fruit Pebbles French Toast and the whole table was in complete awe of the looks AND the taste. I really loved that this place was so clean but dog friendly. It was beautiful, service was great last Saturday we have Jessica. I loved the food and we had fun being extra loud and fun outside. We didn't bring the doggies but will definitely do do next time. It was my first time there and I was loving it. I loved that they were Covid Compliant, staff wore masks, there are barriers between booths, and people were respectful of social distancing. Brought my boy Apollo on a pretty hot day and headed straight to the back (conveniently) and got a table with some friends. We ordered some apps and tried a few great draft beers. The staff for the most part was very friendly and played well with my dog. The had water bowls for him and clips by each booth for you to attach your leash! We visited with a large party - maybe 20... the service was okay. Our server and the people helping her had no clue who's food was whose, which always stinks when it comes to service. She also gave me my food and I had the wrong fries and she asked me to switch the fries with another gentleman in our party who ordered the same thing. It was weird because people around me started taking some of the fries, but since they hadn't brought the other guys plate out yet she asked me if she could have my fries and brought them in back and we're pretty sure swapped them out on his plate. Not really sure why we came back for a 2nd time. Food is not good and servers are not that much better. Took 20 minutes to order dinner. 40 minutes for a salad and 2 appetizers.... that came out at the same time...just so we are clear. We did end up sending their artichoke dip back.The first time we came here was for breakfast... I got a dirty spoon placed in my coffee. After I got my creamer and sugar I licked the spoon and this is where I thought I was going to throw up. The only reason I didn't post about that is because they were very apologetic. They were nice enough to take my Mamosa off my bill which most restaurants will not take off alcoholic beverages. Girlfriends took me to OHSO during a weekend visit... and I loved it! Great outdoor seating area.... And am thrilled that our four legged fur-babies are welcome here. Went looking around for a breakfast place with a buddy and found this hidden Gem. Wanted breakfast, got brunch and was not mad at all. The potato hash had perfect peppers, I'm not joking. The texture was astounding and cooked in the best way possible. Got the Chicken and Waffle Sammy and was blown away, the chicken was juicy and the waffle was fresh. The patio here is really large, and they are by far the most dog friendly place in town. They'll bring water bowls for your pups, and even allow them to sit up in the booth with you if you so choose. I love bringing my two babies here, and they love being able to hang with mama, meet other pups, and get lavished with attention. And the food and drink options here are definitely spot on! So many things to choose from, and great specials for happy hour and brunch. I particularly love the brunch special - you get a beer or mimosa with your brunch meal for $10. Seriously, how can you beat that!?! Really bad experience here which was disappointing. First off, the hostesses were extremely rude. We were seated at a table with sticky chairs and dirty napkins left on it, and when we expressed to the hostess that the table was dirty, she told us to clean it ourselves and walked away. Then, a very intoxicated group was right next to us and were continuously being served despite being very obnoxious and bothering everyone else in the restaurant. I came here in 2017 and remembered how good the burger was. This time around did not disappoint! The AZ burger is amazing with the jalapeño cream cheese and fried onion straws. This was our first stop when we got to Scottsdale and it definitely set the tone for our trip (in the best way)! We got Into town early and wanted somewhere to go watch the UT/OU Football game. They opened at 9 for brunch, and the beer brunch was a great deal. Brunch and a beer or large mimosa for the $13 range. We tried a few different beers and had some food OHSO beers as well as other local beers as well. Our waiter was very helpful and made some great suggestions for us. The food was also really good. This place is very popular (plan on using their complimentary valet service when you arrive, but bring a few dollars to tip). OHSO is a pretty cool spot for brunch for a lot of reasons. They have excellent food options, can accommodate large groups (we had 13) in the outdoor patio, and the beer selection is awesome. We were here for pi day and they had a special where you can you a small slice of pie for $1 to go with the beer you order. The beers are creative and pies were excellent. I ordered the chicken and waffles. I wouldn't say it's the best I've had, but was still good overall and filling. My other friends ordered omelets and burritos, and all were solid choices. We didn't have to wait long for a Saturday morning at 10am, though it did start to get packed as the day went on. Definitely recommend anyone to come here with friends. I've been a customer of OHSO Arcadia for a little over 3 years now, and a regular OHSO customer for just over 6 years. If you order a drink, the employees with gladly ignore you--and instead touch/grope their boyfriend or girlfriend. OHSO used to be professional and a fun place to grab a bite to eat, now they hire boyfriends and girlfriends to work together and grab each other during each shift. If you would STILL like to watch this and have this be your scenery during your visit--then YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I emailed the managers and the owners and no response. The cutest, most dog-friendly restaurant I have ever been to. My friend and I both brought our dogs and got put on the waitlist. As we were waiting we took them on a walk right in the back of the restaurant is the canal trail so it's perfect for people who ride bikes or run here with their dogs. There is a cute "dog bar" area where the dogs can get a fresh bottle of water and homemade dog treats. We received our text that we were up for a table. We got seated and both had a breakfast bowl with a 1¢ mimosa. I guess that or a $0.01 beer are offered with Saturday and Sunday brunches. My only complaint would be the lady that had her daughter and dog out back by the canal selling girl scout cookies. Her dog nipped at my dog and she didn't even apologize or check if my dog was okay. Now I know that's not the restaurants fault but all her customers are customers from the restaurant and that part of my visit didn't sit well. Love this place! We wandered in, not realizing it was brunch special time and ended up getting a spot on the front patio. Mimosa or a beer is included with a brunch order. Score!
