First visit went well, 20-minute wait, but overall care for our dog was fabulous. Very reasonable fees too. Next trip was for meds only, unlike other vets, an appointment charge was not required. Another win! Unfortunately, today, less than an acceptable visit. stopped in at 11:23am, was told that all vets were at lunch, understandable, so non-issue. We purchased the needed meds, $439. An employee apologized that no vet was available but suggested we come back again at 1:30 pm. We did so, actually 1:15 pm. Two others were there before us, so not a huge time concern, plus I falsely assumed that been asked back at 1:30 pm from the no vet available at 11:30 am, we would have a priority attention. After waiting nearly 90 minutes, a long wait to be sure, but the frustration was that four other people came in after us, but were attended to before us? Their protocols and communication were very confsuing and seemingly inconsitantly enforced. A total wait time for the day nearly three hours. When I went to the check in counter expressing my confusion and dissatisfaction, then, miracuoulsy, they could "get me in" next. It was a frustrating experience, an unnecessary waste of time for me and very traumatic for our 14-year-old dog. She spent the same three hours shaking, shivering and fearful. Very unprofessional communication and concern today for us and our dog. Batting zero no, dropped from batting 1000, at best the clinic is a roll of the dice. Didn't live to the rave reviews I had heard about the clinic. Hence the maybe recommend rating.

I decided to call Wedgwood inquire about walk ins, quoted $100 exam fee, I don't recall price range for radiographs, not more than $200.. approx 1hr wait depending on how many check ins before us. I decided to head down to Wedgwood since wait time was shorter. We were brought back to a room with in 15 -20 minutes. Tech took vitals, veterinarian came in 5 minutes later, very knowledgeable with frenchies, IVDD, very thorough exam, detailed explanation of diagnosis, treatment etc. Exam, pain injection and medication to go home with ran me $200. I checked in at 2:50pm, home by 3:55pm. I was expecting it to be longer... Smaller clinics seem to be more caring, informative and personable vs the large animal hospitals that are expensive seem to be commercially ran. Very happy I found a small local clinic vs large chain emergency vet.

I find their pricing to be very expensive for the basic care my 60 lb lab needs. Last visit for her annual shots and checkup, they recommended an ear cleaning. I told them I was very weary of my finances & didn't want to spend too much. I asked for pricing before deciding to move forward. After looking at the estimate, I told them I was going to skip a few tests and only get the basic vaccines. They said they wouldn't certify her if I didn't get them all done. I reluctantly said okay, even though it was pushing my budget. Then when they cleaned her ears, they asked if I wanted to take the ear wash bottle home that they just opened. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought they were being generous and said sure. The bill was $500 for an annual check up and ear cleaning?! When I got home I checked my receipt and they charged me $50 for the opened bottle of ear wash! They sell the same product for $20 on Amazon. I felt cheated. They told me I could take it home and never said I would be charged for it. I find their practice to be predatory with pricing and lead the customer to have unnecessary testing and charges on their bill. Sadly, I will not be returning because of how they choose to run their business. Not in this economy! No ma'am.

Best Vet in Oklahoma by far…read more I cannot say more, because then I would write a book about the amazing Doctor and Staff here at healing hands. I have been to many Oklahoma vets, and this one blows all others away. They truly care for animals more than anything else. I am so grateful for Dr. Weiss and the Staff here. I can't put into words my gratitude, but I can continue to bring my precious animals here anytime they are in need. God Bless you, everyone at Healing Hands.

First thing to say: I love Healing Hands! My new vet (after seeing Midtown Vet for 4 times in one…read moreyear)!! The staff was so nice! The (female) doctor that I saw was very professional, informative, and helpful with understanding my cat! She repeated information for me multiple times (showing her patience), reassured me of her knowledge of animals (credentials), and examined my sweet kitty right in front of me (something that I prefer in my vets). I was surprised by the way she handled Shadow.... she had to get a de-wormer pill down... so she had to be stern. I'm ok with that, because she loved on her in an apologetic way. Just something to expect! My poor cat had been throwing up non-stop in the past 3 days, so I wanted to take her in regardless of any obstacles. Unfortunately, Healing Hands was double booked today (probably because of how great they are) and the nice receptionist told me that "it may be up to a 2 hour way, but it will probably be less". Sure enough, I waited (in my car!!) for only 45 minutes to get taken back into the room. I really appreciated her expressing their desire to see my cat, but that I needed to understand they need patience. Healing Hands was very affordable!! They gave Shadow a de-wormer, examined her vitals (temperature and looked at her skin for mites), swabbed her ears for mites, check for mites in their testing equipment, and it only cost me 75! Midtown vet was twice this amount! Most importantly, the staff and doctor expressed that they wanted to see shadow and treat her! The doctor suggested wet food... since Shadow wasn't keeping any hard food down... and she reassured me that I don't have to come back if I don't need to! Which obviously saves me money. Again, I'll be going back to Healing Hands!

My Boo (Wolfie)…read more ......was diagnosed with heartworms during the season of first Covid. all vets were closing down so he missed his annual visit. Mosquito bite caused his life taking disease. He & I had just came out of a very traumatic domestic violence situation. Both fighting for each other & saving each other's life time & again for survival. . To find out he had heart worms was devastating heartbreaking & the thought of losing him after all he had done for me was unbearable. I took him to an inexpensive vet. Where I had 5 different aggressive employees barge through the door where I sobbed retreating to a corner after assistants & vet herself raised their voices at me & ran thru things I couldn't understand about what they were going to do to him. Wolfie hid under the chair. I didn't even know what heart worms were. terrifying. I tried To ask a question & they were perturbed & impatient that i didn't know what they knew. (Not my field of work.) I was crying uncontrollably, as each new person menacingly came through the door telling me with force there Were no choices only one/take him/keep him/ do things i never even processed too much too fast bad attitudes & shocking aggression from them I came To Midtown Vets--told them what had happened (midtown employee had even used that vet in the past & had good experience)--contacted them where vet-to-vet got a different (not transp) acct of my awful experience. I can't drive by there to this day without feeling fear, apprehension & tension. Bianca at MidTown took the time to explain the causes & the lifecycle, of Heartworms. What they do. The prognosis from A to Z She understood my distraught frame of mind my love for Boo our bond after all we had endured together I could not lose him. She gave it to me straight like I asked her to when I asked questions. That made me feel like this conversation was not happening for money sake. she informed me of my options. Choices I needed to make for his life. Long term treatment or Quick kill the Heart worms & the effects of both treatments. The quality of life for my full of life energy filled high drive Boy. Bianca was his new auntie. He went with her when she Told him to matter of factly (my unsocialized 125 lb big boy) shes an unbelievably confident, skilled handler. he was reactive after our trauma. Barked at everyone. Couldn't take him to Parades etc) my special hurt scared defensive boy. He never barked at Bianca all employees are above & beyond @midtown but Bianca was perfect for him. Her capabilities exceed anything you could hope for especially in the situation I was in. The doctor himself came out to speak to me & visit before the procedure. Understandably it may have been to feel me out to see if I would bail out like I did with other vet as they were not transparent with Midtown in my experience With them. they also prescribed too many meds which I paid for. I had obstacles stacked against MY character. Plus the vets in a code of ethics bond; But still Midtown remained unbiased. Neutral. I will not take my boo anywhere else the personalities the Vibe the way they run the office as a well oiled machine & on the same team. Coming out of what we had, shaken, shell shocked from trauma both of us-to hear this diagnosis was beyond what words can describe. It was the demeanor, the honest direct answers from Bianca. Her confident, knowledgeable experience That actually made me trust them with my everything. His life. She is now Wolfies Bianca lol They also understood us not being separated for 4 years of struggle to survive. He went to work with me. I gave up my dinner & bed for him. never a day apart due to circumstances & they accommodated my intense fear of us being divided. Him being alone, not understanding. (He has extreme separation anxiety ; will bark until soaked in sweat thinking he was abandoned) extremely intelligent animal with insatiable loyal dutiful soul-- for him to think I left him behind would have been the death of him. I would not want to put all these unfortunate circumstances on any vet. But Midtown worked with my many tears my many questions & wolfies & my experiences, easing my mind & gaining my trust. they are efficient, more than capable, qualified & caring. front desk, vet assists, all positions. The doc is incredible in his work. owns & shares experiences medically & otherwise about his own Boo-a "Frenchie"--My Boo's age!. : ) I would recommend no other. yes more expensive. Midtown locale. Midtown vibe. Midtown rent but worth every buck-The Decor is upbeat, cheerful & the transfer of those positive feel good vibes onto the animals is priceless . Do you see that beautiful little baby girl in the photos? Her name was Katniss Everdeen…read more On November 27th-28th we noticed that she wasn't eating or going to the bathroom, but she was still drinking water. My wife and I decided that we would take her in to have her checked out on Saturday the 29th. Once we were seen and finished telling the vet what was going on, the first words out of his mouth were; Well, we close at noon today, so we'll see what we can do. Red Flag #1 My wife and I left, because I had to take her to work, he said he would let us know what they find out. About an hour later I get a call from an assistant saying that they would like to do x-rays, bloodwork, etc. I said; Do it. About another hour went by and I get a 2nd call from the assistant saying that the vet would like to speak to me. He starts speaking like her life is over and yet she was just fine walking around drinking water, she just wouldn't go to the bathroom or eat. He started saying that she has chronic kidney failure. He would like to have her brought in every day to have fluids injected under her skin, but didn't want to do anything else. #Red Flag #2 On Sunday she was still walking around on her own, drinking out of her water bowl, but still not eating or using the bathroom. I let him know this on Monday when I brought her in for her under the skin fluid injection. He didn't seem to care, he just wanted to pawn her off onto the assistants to do the fluid injection and left the room. He was in the room maybe 10 seconds. Red Flag #3 Before leaving I asked the assistant if she would ask him how long he wants to do these injections under the skin, he wouldn't even come into the room to talk, he just told her; everyday until she's better. Red Flag #4 Brought her in on Tuesday December 2nd for another under the skin fluid injection. Told him the same thing, except this time I told him that she wasn't eating, drinking or using the bathroom now. All his response was; force her to eat/drink. He didn't want to check on anything else. Red Flag #5 That night, she was so weak that she couldn't even stand, she would try to get up, then just flop over. She just sat there, still being the lovey cat she's always been as I would pet her. That night I slept on the floor with her. I was laying next to her as she took her last breath and passed away just after 2am on December 3rd 2025 which hurts even more, because that morning and same time just happen to be my birthday. After doing some research and talking to some other places we found out that there could've been more done and her life could've been saved, she could've lived for years and years, but he just wanted to give her fluids under the skin and get her out of the office. They said more could've been done and she would've lived a longer life, if the right care would've been issued the FIRST TIME! I should've taken her somewhere else. I wish I would've taken her somewhere else. If I had only known that this VET really only cared about money, then I would have, but now we know. Besides not eating or going to the bathroom a lot, she was still running around the house playful as could be, like always. Let this be your warning, not your heartbreak. I miss my little monkey, she was my little peeker. She loved to lick my face/fingers to let me know that she was ready to crawl into bed under the covers, she loved to sleep in the bed with me (us) at night, she loved to play with her oven mitts in the middle of the night, she loved to open the utensil drawers to sit inside them while we slept, she loved hopping all over plastic shopping bags to hide inside of them, like a pile of leaves. Her favorite spot laying in the cat tree basket is now empty. Her favorite spot on the couch is now empty. Her favorite spot on the kitchen table is now empty. Her favorite spot on the bed is now empty. A piece of us is now gone. It hurts even more now knowing more could've been done, he just didn't want too. Congratulations Veterinarian Wilkins. You've let another loving pet die, because you just didn't have time. There just wasn't enough money to be made on this one. Folks, let this be your warning, not your heartbreak. I miss my little baby girl and I wouldn't be, if I would've just paid attention to the red flags.

That was my very first time there. He has never had bone cancer. For a vet to make such a serious claim so casually, without even examining my dog, was alarming and completely unprofessional. From that point forward, I only used Warr Acres for basic vaccines and grooming -- never for anything serious. Unfortunately, my most recent grooming visit showed me that even those basic services aren't handled with care. Perfume was applied to one of my dogs despite repeated instructions (noted in their file) -- my dog has allergies to perfume, and I always remind them when I call to book. Yet they still did it. One dog did not receive the requested teeth brushing, and there was also a minor sticky fur issue. Instead of acknowledging these mistakes, I was told I'd need to pay more just to have the "no perfume" instruction followed correctly. When I raised my concerns, Tina S., Practice Manager, was dismissive and rude. She said: "It seems we may not be the right fit for the level of service you're seeking. If not, we completely understand if you prefer to explore other providers better aligned with your needs." Rather than take responsibility, they refused to see my dogs again and tried to make it seem like I was the problem. My feedback was reasonable and respectful, yet it was brushed off as if I had no right to speak up. Tina was not kind at all, and her attitude was extremely unprofessional. Looking back, it's probably a good thing this happened -- no one should ever take their pets there. It's disgusting how they treat people and how they treat animals. And now I can't help but wonder what else was going on behind closed doors that I didn't know about. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't fall for the empty reply from Tina (or whoever responded). I've saved plenty of messages from her, and it's clear they're not interested and don't care. Anytime you try to discuss something with Tina, you'll get three or more different versions of the same subject. They're not sorry as they claim, they don't care, and they don't want to work things out.
