In my opinion it's a rip off. What if you are all adults and want the big slide. Fyi they stop running at 4:30pm. Food has corkage fee , lechon has corkage fee and you cannot bring water or any drinks or you will also be charge a fee. The soft drink as of this review is 77 pesos. The tuba was also expensive. The restroom was decent however there was no soap to wash your hands . The employees also uses the restrooms , so I wonder if they even wash hands with soap. No toilet papers and no trash bins inside the rest rooms. The positive side is the place outside looks well maintained a lot of opportunity to take pictures. The staff is good at getting your needs like plates , utensils and drinks ( service water). Just a suggestion there should be two people watching the slide to monitor down below and up on the deck.

The view was absolutely DIVINE! (see what I did there? ;) We were greeted by a modest picture of an open concept structure. However as you draw near, you know that the simplicity was a perfect complement to the peaceful nature it rests upon. The nice breeze and sound of the sea welcomes your approach. What greets you in the lobby is the breathtaking view of the infinity pool leading towards the sea. My son loved it so much he quickly asked if he can jump in, and that he did. He stayed there the entire day I might add. Conveniently the rooms (all 9 of them) were just a few steps from the pool so it was not so hard to keep an eye out for him. The rooms are no suite but are adequately sized for a family of 3. They were clean with everything we needed. Surprisingly the beds and the linen sheets were hotel grade and yes I can tell they are because when you're pregnant you tend to be very picky and observant for such comforts. They even have a common kitchen but hardly used it. There is a restaurant nearby though so food wasn't an issue. Service was superb, staff - friendly, made us feel right at home. Apparently this location is close to adventures and tourist attractions. Kawasan Falls, Canyoneering and Sardine Run were just a few minutes away as we were told. Our intent was to go Whale Shark Watching in a neighbouring town, Oslob. Their staff was very accommodating to help us with arrangements. Oh and their English is superb so no worries in communication. The cherry on top to this beautiful place was the stunning sunsets as the days end. I wish I have words to describe the feeling when you see it but you will just have to be there to see and experience it for yourself. Memories were indeed made.

There were a few options…read morethat pop-up, but after reading a few reviews about Sunshine Garden, I went ahead and booked it through Hotels.com Upon arrival, we were greeted immediately by owner, Loraine and her amazing staff. Loraine even provided us a welcome freshly brewed, ice tea. Check-in was easy, and I had two rooms booked, but Loraine only asked for one room deposit. Sunshine Garden is located about a 10-minute walk to the beach, and about a 20 minute walk into town where all the festivities are including local eateries. Very centrally located. Sunshine Garden also provides rental for scooters in house, a full served homemade breakfast. Loraine also cooks bread fresh daily which was delicious. There are about 11 rooms total in this resort. We were on the second floor, with a full balcony at back with a glimpse view of the ocean. I chuckled as I also had a few of a water buffalo and chickens. What a treat! My aunt who joined us was downstairs and she had 3 beds (really huge room), and a beautiful front porch with a table and 2 chairs which we took advantage of nightly. They have a cute gazebo with full dining table and chairs for breakfast or hanging out, including a hammock. They also provided a few books for reading, and a fantastic cat that roams the property and says hello to everyone. There is also an elder dog and apologies that I did not get the name but was also fun to watch roaming. I brought my own coffee and coffee press so you can request hot water thermos that surprisingly, lasted very hot for a full 24 hours. Bathroom and toilet are separate, bedrooms are nice and comfy. There are no phones in the room or TV, but there is a guard 24/7 after evening and the owner Loraine lives on site the property should you need additional amenities. I think the best treat staying at Sunshine Bantayan Garden Resort is the coziness and peacefulness. It is easy access to everything in town like the beach, restaurants and grocery stores, but I think the hidden gem here is their garden. It's like taking a walk in a nature park. So peaceful and very quiet at night. I would return here again when I visit Bantayan Island. Cheers!

I have been planning a large family vacation and reunion for months, and we were looking for a venue where we could host a full weekend of activities. Sheridan Boutique Resort seemed like a great fit, so I initially reached out several times by email and tried calling their listed phone number to inquire about availability, accommodations, and event pricing. I never received a response to my emails, and no one answered the phone. Eventually, I had to ask a family member who lives locally to physically go to the resort just so we could speak with someone. Since then, we have primarily been communicating with Joyce Divino regarding our event and proposed contract. Despite the initial communication difficulties, we were still very interested in the property and began negotiating a contract for an entire weekend of accommodations and festivities for our family. Unfortunately, the contract process became another source of frustration. The contracts we received repeatedly contained information that did not match what had been discussed, including different pricing, incorrect rental hours, and missing details that had already been agreed upon. Each time we reviewed the contract, we carefully identified what needed to be corrected. However, revised versions would come back with some items corrected while other requested changes were still incorrect or missing. Because phone calls and emails were not sufficient to resolve these issues, our family member had to physically return to the resort multiple times to speak with them in person. We were already on the THIRD contract revision when we were informed that our requested party date had been booked for a wedding. This was incredibly disappointing. We had invested a significant amount of time communicating with the resort, reviewing and correcting contracts, coordinating plans for a large family gathering, and having a family member repeatedly travel to the property because communication by phone and email had been so difficult. Throughout that entire process, we were moving forward with the understanding that we were actively negotiating with Sheridan Boutique Resort to secure that weekend. I completely understand that a date may not be officially reserved without a signed contract or deposit. However, when a potential client is already actively negotiating a contract that has gone through THREE revisions, I believe the professional and courteous thing to do would have been to inform us that another party was interested in the same date and give us an opportunity to finalize the contract and submit the required deposit. Instead, after all of the back-and-forth and repeated attempts to correct the resort's own contract, we were simply informed that the date had been booked by someone else. I also understand that Sheridan Boutique Resort is part of JECO Development Corporation. I hope management is aware of the communication and contract issues we experienced because the property itself has a lot of potential. We genuinely wanted to host our family celebration there, which is why we continued trying to work through these issues rather than simply looking elsewhere. Unfortunately, this experience has made it very difficult for us to feel confident planning such an important event with Sheridan Boutique Resort. For anyone considering the resort for a wedding, reunion, or other large event, I would strongly recommend getting every detail in writing, carefully checking every revision of the contract against what was actually discussed, and confirming that your date is formally secured as early as possible.
