Getting a human on the phone who can help with anything is impossible. We were unable to cancel or get out early, but have obviously not renewed. We are now being charged a $500 move-out "restoration services" fee -- needless to say, we did not receive the office in a "restored" condition. We've asked since the day we moved in for peeling paint and window damage to be repaired, but Crystal at the front desk ignored all requests. We asked Denae to have the fee waived given the state of our office from move-in to present, but she declined. STAY AWAY.

I have never experienced anything so disgraceful. It took 3 months to get my office to the correct temperature. I had to leave in the afternoons as it was 87 degrees. But that is just the start. The building was without power on multiple occasions apparently because the electric bill was not paid (Managers words, not mine). I was told there were no 12 months leases... so I would start with a shorter term lease. At 3 months I was "jack hammered" into a new lease at huge bump through their "auto renewal policy". But it gets worse. Trying to leave is a trap. I was set up with a "Retention Specialist" who tried to get me into a different office and told me that they could not terminate my current lease and have access to current rates at the same time. NOT TRUE. My "Retention Rep" walked me through the termination policy and guess what? I am told Regus did not get it so I was again forced into another lease for 12 months at a 100% increase. There solution? No problem we will take it out of the security deposit. Anyone have the same experience and interested in joining the fight please let me know. I am far from done and have an attorney. Not about the $1,600 but completely about their unfair practices and ridiculous policies. Chandlerbgreene@gmail.com

Technically, this review is for the Savannah, GA location--but since they don't have a Yelp page…read moreyet, I'm posting it here because everyone needs to know how amazing Switchyard is! We had something similar in Savannah a few years ago, but it closed, and I've missed having a work club ever since. So when I found out Switchyard was opening here, I literally jumped up and down with excitement! As a remote worker, I know how hard it can be to spend hours in a coffee shop without feeling guilty for taking up space. Switchyard solves that problem beautifully. I had the chance to preview the new Savannah location before it opened, and the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. I was worried it might feel too bright or overwhelming, but it's the exact opposite: warm, inviting lighting, plenty of seating options (from cozy nooks to larger tables), and enough space for everyone to feel comfortable and focused. Plus, they've partnered with some of the best local coffee spots--Origin and PERC--so you can enjoy amazing coffee while you work. And the coolest part? THEY'RE OPEN 24 HOURS! I can't wait to experience the Savannah location once it officially opens. I'm beyond excited to have a space like this in our city!

If you think about the overhead cost of owning or renting an office that comes with coffee/tea AND WiFi, especially in downtown Charleston, $100/month membership is a bargain of a deal! There are private rooms to reserve and phone booths for private calling. Also a quiet "heads down" area. This workspace cooperative is great for all types of individuals looking for a place to work or network even! The areas are well laid out, organized and clean. Great effort went into the detail of planning this space! The staff are friendly and you can't be at 24/7 access. Especially for those 3am crunch work sessions or moments when you can't sleep and want to be productive but everything around you is distracting! Plus with the membership you can visit ANY of the other 25 Switchyard locations! What a steal!

There are small 'quiet rooms' to take a call but you cannot rent a conference room for a day. Not much difference from a coffee shop. They made it a point to ask me to put my mask on and wanted visible confirmation it was on when I was the only person in the entire facility in the huge open space and had it down after eating a snack. Apparently freedom of speech was not an expectation either. All other customers were in rented spaces with closed doors. Mind you when I walked in I was not greeted with any enthusiasm or given a tour or shared my options, I had to ask for the wifi password, how to use the coffee machine, etc. The place has no hand sanitizer visibly available throughout the many desks. There are no 6 feet spacing of the chairs in the common areas of any kind nor partitions to keep germs at bay. I was in the facility from opening to closing and never saw a desk wiped down or cleaned. I would recommend they also add basic functionality to make it a turn coworking space like having monitors/pcs (there are none) for rent, providing locker space, having electronic adapters, extenders, and other essentials for those attempting to co-work. This seems like a nice esthetic but little to no financial investment in actual office equipment needs if you are not renting a conference room monthly. To each his own. Instead of putting a highlight on masks, please take more business precautions rather than putting the demand on the client to fight covid.

I say new, but I found out that this place has been here for 4 years. I have passed by it many times and never knew what it was. Great for meeting or even doing a class. I was very impressed. Wifi, small kitchen area, and lots of natural lighting. The staff is very attentive and always willing to help. These folks are DEFINITELY here for small business. Definitely will return and take advantage of this space! LD
