I knew my inner stationery fiend would get completely carried away if I started browsing (it's packed with all the supplies you could want, though most you could probably nick from your office stationary cupboard, not that I'm advocating that ahem), so I asked the lady behind the counter if they sold raffle ticket books; she went one better than pointing me to a shelf and kindly walked me right over to them. I was impressed by the range even of this one (slightly out of the ordinary) product - which came in a variety of colours and sizes. I nabbed two books of standard sized 500s for a very reasonable £5 and skipped back to the office to start selling them :)

The place was packed (after work hours) and they had stuff ranging from pointless / useless to useful items for the any place in your home. The staff were friendly as well as helpful! This grumpy old sod was moved to smile, drawn in and with predictable consumerist energy sucked into spending £30 quid on a selection of stuff. With an Ikea aesthetic and set out in a one way route you get to see and be presented with everything they have on offer. And just like to Ikea market area you cannot seem to pass through without taking advantage of the unbelievable bargains. Surrounded mainly by women who were so overexcited by all the shiny cheap trinklets on offer I was moved to smile some more and shift quickly to the checkout and think myself lucky they only got 30 quid out of me......this time. This is a great little niche store right in the heart of the West End. The staff are all really…read morefriendly and, more importantly, knowledgeable. They have a great selection of stock (the greetings cards are hilarious and my absolute favourite) and at prices that are far cheaper than the larger chain stationers which are close by. All in all a great find and my new first port of call for stationery. Oh, and they'll even make you a fancy coffee as you browse through their collection. What else could you ask for?

Good job. The shop itself is good if only because it is large - a large stationary shop has a large area with which to display and sell a large amount of goods. There is absolutlely everything a student or businessman could want here - ledgers, folders, ring binders, pens, all in different colours, qualities and prices. The staff are pretty reclusive and don't offer much in the way of communication (reminded forcibly of a small puppy I was, when dealing with one particular assistant) but it's a stationary shop so you're pretty much expected to sort your own damn stuff out. A necessary outlet, to be sure.

So many colours of folder, my kaleidoscopic world of blues, pinks and yellow edges me to cliff of fulfilment. Yet his huge store of office and school stationary leaves me wanting. Why? This location has a HUGE amount of used office furniture. Desk, chairs, tables, etc. Some of it in great condition, some of it not-so-great. It's all cleanly laid out in this warehouse. They also sell new/custom lines as well, which they clearly try to steer you towards. Pet peeve -- LIST THE PRICES on the items. FFS, I do not want to have to ask you how much each thing costs. I won't bother you about a chair that is 4x overpriced, ok lads? Free delivery in/around London - so that's nice. I didn't end up liking anything particularly on this visit, nor did I want to order new/custom (could do that somewhere else) -- the appeal of same or next day delivery was nice but asking about prices and then getting very lackluster information from the attendant kind of put me off. He kind of shoo'ed me away and gave me his card to call him. Like, I'm here right now. SELL ME SOMETHING. Anyway, it's not a bad shout if you need some lightly used office furniture for your office, startup, or even at home depending on your space. Looks like their inventory rotates relatively often so worth a stop in as its very convenient to local transport and right off Old Street.
