Most people don't really look like the average club goer. Things are more alternative here. The club itself has the shape of a narrow tunnel. It used to be part of the tube station system. The DJ booth is really small, but he and the club goers don't mind. The bouncers are friendly and caring and people won't bother you. No misbehaving by bad boys. The decoration is mainly metallic. It looks and feels like you're in a industrial zone. Some people like that raw and gritty stuff. But I'm just not feeling the vibe and the music. Sorry.

Also there is a (small) smoking room, because in the main room smoking is banned due to the Dutch laws. Drinks are €2.75 for a good sized beer, maybe more for mixed drinks. They run with tokens, so the bar can go at a far faster pace then other places. One thing to note is I would recommend to buy musicians earplugs as it is very loud, but then again, almost all nightclubs and even a lot of bars have music at a very high volume, it's up to you I guess.

And it's a chill, cosy, enjoyable club anyway. No stress and no strings attached. Just come as you are. No special clothing prescriptions. Jeans and a t-shirt are fine too. I've seen someone dressed as an alien and someone else like a planet during the two weeks of the IFFR (International Film festival Rotterdam) It's all good. Sometimes they even have theme parties. The music is a mix of 80's favorites, 90's memorables, pumping hip hop and R&B and disco classics. The music reaches the far spectrum of the pop charts of then and now. Drinks are reasonably priced ans there ia more than enough. If you want a snack there's candy and little cans of pringels. The staff is really nice. You have to be able to deal with that or this place is not for you. I liked being at Cinema that day, but I don't think this will be may homeground. I'm more of a Bird girl (see my reviews about that club) Cinema is very R&B orientated. If you're in a glam mood you can walk in. The people are nice and polite, so no barfights here!
