With so much to do in Queenstown (very touristy), I'm glad that I the the chance to go through a "full on" ATV (Quad-biking) at "Off-Road Adventures". I must admit, it made me feel MANLY and then I was sore for the rest of the day! This was my first time and now I'll be seeking out ATV trails when I return home (USA). The terrain constantly changes with different degrees of difficulties. There are great views at the end of several trails so remember to take photos. This was a great group experience. The instructors at "Off Road Adventures" provided a lot of information for operating your ATV and staying safe. SAFETY TIP: It's not a race and not bumper cars! Full body suits and helmets are provided but you're carrying your valuables on your person (no lockers available). Once you're done with the ATV, head over for ziplining! I've done this in other countries (Costa Rica) and absolutely loved the 6-zip course that they offered. Staff will help you correctly put on your harness and helmet. They suggest valuables are left in lockers. SAFETY-TIP: Consult your medical doctor before doing any of these activities. They are stress and adrenaline inducing. read more

There were 8 of us in the shuttle to the ATV riding location but they split us up into smaller groups based on their assessment of our skills. Great idea since a few of the people in the group seemed very tentative and there were also younger children. My husband and I enjoyed our ride with Ryan as our guide. He took a few photos and those were included in the cost of the tour. The area is beautiful and we covered a lot of ground including hills and water. It was a fun outing and the tour company was very professional, and well organized. read more

Good times out with the ATVs~! This is a fun trip for all ages & experience levels, and set in the beautiful backdrops of mountains, valleys and rivers. The guides are great, and you can ride along trails from beginner to advanced based on your comfort and skill level. ORA provided awesome outerwear to keep us comfy (water/wind-proof pants, jacket & boots, and also riding gloves and full-faced helmets) so you don't need to bring a thing, except maybe sunnies, but it was totally fine without them when we went. A ziploc baggie for your phone may be handy too, if you want to snap some pics at the viewpoints, and maybe bring a bottle of water to keep in the van for after your ride~ Definitely a fun day out, wish we could have stayed longer~! read more

Really fun adventure with beautiful views and a caring crew! Went with the 400cc dirt bike and the guide, Snowy, was able to asses our group's ability quickly. Small groups, only 3 including the guide in ours. Took us through some challenging, advanced runs, along with some fast and wet runs. Great track set up along with some technical climbs and great views. Definitely an adrenaline rush! read more
