This is my first & probably last visit to this cinema, although like other reviews have said its a nice little 3 screen place which serves its purpose to see movies on a big screen in the town. Tonight I have been to see Capt Philips with Tom Hanks in the starring role, however what marred the occasion was freezing my butt off, normally you arrive at the cinema with a coat & then have no where to put it & tonight it was raining on arrival but managed to park really close so didn't need it. How wrong was I. I'm afraid It's back to the multi-plex in Teesside for a more enjoyable viewing experience in the warm. read more

I think this place is nice, it is small so doesn't have as many screens as the bigger Odeons but almost doesn't have as much as a big price. The food and drink I never get from here, too expensive way too much. The parking is always a bit of a problem in the evenings too. read more

Very poor experience, we were turned away because my son didn't have ID despite being with both parents. The cinema was empty and I believe we were turned away by abrupt and inflexible staff so they could do nothing instead of their job. Complained to the Cinema Manager and received a 'Cut and Paste' reply, I responded to the Managers excuses and have not received a reply after 6 weeks. Go to Teeside Park for a proper cinema experience. read more

The Odeon Darlington is situated at about a 10 minute walk from the town centre. The cinema itself is small with only three screens, but has recently been refurbished. A variety of films are shown and discounts are available to students and other concessionaries. Staff are very friendly. Snacks and drinks are also available. read more

I love this place.I've been going ever since i was little and i now take my children and they love it too.The smell as soon as you enter reminds me of when i went as a child.It hasn't hardly changed,which is what i like in places like this.I do like modern places but i like cinema's and theatres to be old buildings.The only bad part about this place is that you have to queue outside but the queue soon goes down.The food and sweets are a little pricey but not as much as you can pay at some places. read more
