The gift shop inside is really cool. They have authentic Scottish merchandise, many hand-made leather items, belts, straps, sporran bags, clothing, and custom-made Kilts. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. If you are having trouble finding what you need be sure to ask because they truly want to assist. There is a museum inside the store; it cost $8 for adults and $4 for children, but we didn't have the time on this particular day. Inside the museum they showcase an extensive Tartan archive, the evolution of the highland dress, and the timeline of regional history and lore. Green fees are reasonable at $38. Not made for long-ball hitters (6153 yds) from blue tips) but for shot-makers. Many elevation changes up and down & a very playable course for regular folks. Fairways in good condition & greens in excellent condition. Only con was tee-boxes were spotty with grass & sand. Hole #3 is unusual in that it is. Par 5 for men and par 3 for women. Hole 9 is the "bell hole" where you ring the bell to let those behind you know you have cleared the fairway. I am looking forward to a return visit.
