It was very quiet when I popped in, though I wasn't popping in for a coffee I was just perusing the gifts. There are lots of cafes in Poulton so competition is tough and I have to admit that although I'd walked past this shop many times before I'd never actually realised that it had a cafe. All in all a pleasant little shop with some unusual gifts on display.

They were therefore in breach of the Sale of Goods Act by misrepresenting the goods. Subsequently they agreed to have the goods collected, then casually changed their minds. You must simply not do business with this awful company.

The cards seem reasonably priced, certainly far cheaper than the cards I had just looked at across the road at WH Smiths. They also have various gifts, wrapping paper etc. On this occasion I was looking for a card for my brother's birthday but I found the selection fairly limited and couldn't find one that I liked so I went elsewhere. All in all an OK card shop even though I didn't buy on this occasion.

Poulton has its fair share of card shops though, with two long established ones in the Teanlowe Centre as well as a W.H.Smiths. Card Crazy has a much larger selection than any of the others though and I'll probably come here first when I'm next looking to buy a card. All in all a smashing card shop!

Is this against the consumer rights? :S what happens if you buy something that is faulty that needs to be returned, how can you prove that it was purchased there? l put a pen on my cards but when l looked later it wasn't in my bag l went back and the assistant said ill give you the benefit of the doubt. I could of afforded to buy all the pens th at were on the counter. If l had a receipt l wouldn't of been made out l was lying. Some of the cards aren't priced up either.

However, I must admit, Petals exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly, they recommended an arrangement and it was beautiful (I saw the pics), and delivery was on time. I will definitely order from them in the future!
