It's located in a small plaza across the street from Bank of America. This is currently my go-to spot for my eyebrow needs. Rekha took care of my eyebrows, chin, & upper lip a few times now, & she has always done a great job. After checking her work, she doesn't get upset if I ask her to trim a hair or thread off a little more on one part, unlike other places I've gone to. If she disagrees, she lets me know why, but still does so if I insist. My first time here, she even told me some tips to help my eyebrows grow more evenly. Quick note, Rekha is not there on Wednesdays, but you can also book an appointment with her. Oh, & don't forget to ask for a stamp card or coupons! OC Threading Salon meets price and quality. I have had my fair share of nightmare brow threading jobs. Hence, I cant help, but constantly reiterate, "Not too thin with a pointed arch." The threader saw how nervous I was and would continuously checked in with me with how I liked her progress thus far. They were immaculately perfect. Been looking for a good threading salon. I was a walk-in customer. Even on a stormy day, ladies were coming in and out of the shop. Good sign! Happy the lady did a very nice job shaping and cleaning up my brows and lip! She was very meticulous. Friendly, clean atmosphere. All the prices are good! I decided not to get my eyebrows done here anymore. The owner is wonderful. But the other woman is awful. I asked her to clean up the ends of my eyebrows. And a couple of hairs she missed. She got mad and cut my skin on both sides. Because other people were waiting and she was by herself. And every time I go she's asks me 3-5 times if I want my lips too. I always have to keep telling her no thank you. It's annoying and rude. It's all about getting as much money out of the customers. Getting them in and out quickly. This is long overdue! I've been coming here since they opened back in maybe 2013-2014. These ladies have watched me go from young college student to now married with two kids. They're all so personable & sweet. Arti and Rika are truly amazing, they really take their time in doing ones eyebrows. Now with COVID I've been a few times & they follow protocol to the tea. From checking temperatures, to wearing masks (I saw Rika double mask it), to washing hands after every client. yay! i found a new threading place. I used to go to a place in irvine but since I moved to downtown I wasn't able to find a place i trusted. This equates to my eyebrows lookin a mess. Someone once told me, or I read it somewhere, that having shapely kept eyebrows make you instantly 20% prettier.. now I've totally made up that number because I don't exactly remember what the quote was but you get the pt, nice eyebrows = pretty. Anyhoo, this place is right next to my parents place and they are super great. In fact my husband thought my eyebrows looked better here than when I was going to the place in irvine. Unfortunately I don't remember the girls name, but the place is small and there were only 2 girls working there so 50/50 right? haha im sure they are both good. I had been going to another threading place for a long time because I was okay with the results and nervous about trying another place and ending up with messed up eyebrows. I'm glad I finally tried another place because it went really well! The person who did my eyebrows (Arti) was so sweet and took her time, it didn't feel like she was in a rush to finish at all. I noticed that she used the string to measure where my eyebrows were supposed to arch as well. Finally, she handed me the mirror at the end and asked if everything was okay. She always does my eyebrows in a bad manner as if my presence bothers her. Usually I just kind of deal with it because it's cheap and walking distance from my house so it's convenient. I have been coming here for about 2 years now and go to get my eyebrows done. I have been noticing that the girls that work there are getting so rude. One of the reasons I stopped going. Also, they keep breaking the thread and it snaps on your face so it makes the already not to pleasant experience even more unpleasant. On top of that, the last couple of times I went, they cut the skin on my eyelid causing irritation and stinging. For the next couple of days it leaves me with miniature scabs on my eyelids. I got my eyebrows done for the first time here and it hurt a lot more than i expected although I've gotten my upper lip threaded before. About 5-6 times the woman mentions how thick my hair was, how fast it must grow and how sensitive my skin was. She was polite in mentioning that i had a few stray hairs on my lower lip she would get for no charge. All throughout the day my eyebrows were hurting and the next day i had multiple scabs under my eyebrows from the threading. I went back as soon as they had opened the next morning to let them know and Ekta apologized, refunded my money and gave me a card to get my eyebrows done for free in the hopes of me returning assuring that shouldn't happen again. I decided to return to give them another chance hoping it wouldn't happen again. I received all the same comments as before, ended up with one eyebrow thinner than the other and had scabs under my eyebrows again. I will not be returning, which is unfortunate because it is within walking distance of my house. My advice is that anyone with sensitive skin, or getting the eyebrows for the first time, don't go here. read more

I really like this place. Orange County has A LOT of affordable threading places to choose from and this one has been my favorite. From the stamp card, coupons they give you, and the Mon/Tues eyebrow and upper lip $8 special it's obvious why I like it. I always go here (every two weeks) and I always have amazing eyebrows by the time they're done! There is rarely a line so you're in and out of there quickly and they put effort into it. I have read some reviews that the older woman seems rude and unpleasant though that may be true, I personally don't think she means it in that way. I was never 100% satisfied there but I was too scared to go somewhere new until they bumped up their prices to $12 just for eyebrows. Okay so I'm a huge fan of this place and I've been coming here since 2014 but I have to say that I'm so disappointed with how my eyebrows came out. The lady who did them took out half out my eyebrow as you can see in the picture. I can't even begin to explain how sad I am knowing that where I work I work with customers on a Daily and my eyebrows are so depressing to see. At first you could tell she was doing just fine not rushing and as soon as another person walked him she started rushing! And I could feel it! Normally I get a 1 min eyebrow massage and she only took 5 secs as well. I'm so disappointed. I couldn't even tip which I normally do and well! It feels like a beginner did my eyebrows too. I love how she massages my forehead as she applies the lotion onto my eyebrows. All of the ladies here are amazing! They are so nice, and they work fast. For the most part I have never really waited longer than 10 minutes. There is a small little waiting area, and they have a stamp card incentive which is really good.
