You are not locked into any long term memberships that I found at other gyms. When it comes to equipment they offer all the things you need. Plenty of cardio machines, free weights, and circuit training. They have a large number of TVs as well. Overall FFL is my recommendation for a no frills gym that offers excellent value for your money. I don't think you will be able to find other gyms that compete on this level in the area.

This is a small but very well-kept gym right across the street from Market of Choice. Even though the place is not that big and the basement-like location=no windows, there are plenty of machines, weights, medicine balls, etc. I usually never have to wait for a treadmill. The bathrooms & machines are spotless, the staff is really nice, and I just get a good feeling after working out here. There are free yoga/pilates/aerobic etc classes you can take, so check out their schedule. Times to avoid: 4-6PM. Lots of after-work folks here during this time. The one downside of going to a small, locally owned gym: really limited hours. They close at 9, which is fine during the summer when I have plenty of time, but other times, I prefer to work out late at night!

You will see her you will know who I'm talking about she's the only African-American woman working there and she has a 24 seven attitude problem she again yelled at me screamed at me while I was naked I had to call the police because when I was gonna come out of the locker room she was yelling from the outside saying things that I had to call the police for I could not safely leave the locker room she has targeted me multiple times she is very abusive and the only thing she's good at is being abusive she stared at me for a long time watching me while I was on the treadmill and I caught it she sounds like a toddler she doesn't have any people skills the only things she's good at is yelling being abusive not counting money right and she's just so miserable and tries to make everyone around her miserable she has scared away one of the staff member working there said something to them very inappropriate and her behavior only gets worse every day she had had 2 police reports on her and almost ended up in jail one night for blocking me from coming out of locker room this is not a safe person to be around this is an abuser and she has always stalked me place police warned her many times and she has an ongoing problem with attitude and she is unable to be an adult at work again again I witnessed her trying to short people out on their money they put the phone in front of her face and said now you're gonna give me what I'm owed do not interact with her. Another issue that I endured was being picked on by the white skinny lady who teaches the class in the pool a nice lady replaced her for like a week when she was out getting cancer treatment but unfortunately she came back and has harassed me in the hot tub when I wasn't even taking the class in the pool. Again the white lady teaching the class at 6pm in the pool had CANCER and came back even though the other teacher was nice who replaced her. She has been reported to staff there before and they had to ask her not to bug me and just focus on her class in the pool. She has made rude looks at me in locker room and repeatedly harassed me in the hot tub instead of focusing on her class in the pool this is not another person who is capable of nice human skills I hope that this information has helped someone to realize how toxic this gym can be not to mention how dirty it is all the time. I was welcomed into a friendly community that has men and women, young an old, of various persuasions and backgrounds. I have gotten healthier and stronger, and I've gotten better at training, and I've met fantastic people on the staff and in the gym. The equipment is great, and they have everything I need.
