The rims and the tires look new, the headlights went from opaque to clear, and the interior cloth went from murky brown to its original silver gray. He made a big point to me that he is now the new site manager. He tried to upsell me on the wash level I had chosen. I explained why I did not feel I need it. He agreed & they started my wash. When I was summoned to inspect my car, I saw the exact same glaze/haze on my windshield. I pointed it out the detailer. When he started to address it, Brandon came running out asking what was he doing? I explained that the windshield was not clean. Brandon then told me that I needed to buy the higher level car wash to get the kind of service I was expecting. I was shocked! I asked him if a clean windshield was too much to ask for. He said that it was clean enough, but that if I wanted it done right, I needed to buy the highest level car wash. He said he only wants Customers that are willing to spend more & take care of his staff. i asked him if he was willing to lose Customers like me with almost 15 years of history? He said he was fine with having only Customers that were interested in taking care of his people. So to recap, I went to a car wash that I have been loyal to for almost 15 years. When I asked the person that told me the vehicle was ready to actually clean the windshield, the site manager told me I was not entitled to that.
