Terrible experience. The server never brought water until 20 min into the meal when we asked. And the sushi? Tasted like absolute ass. Dry rice, funky fish, zero flavor. Never again. Leaving the restaurant, I am now sick to my stomach and have ruined my night.

They had me at sushi sandwich. I had to try it! We were seated right away on a Thursday night. Server was attentive and quick. Salmon avocado tartar was great. My husband normally doesn't like a lot of avocado, but liked it in this dish. Sushi sandwich was fun. Sauce was yummy. Lots of good flavors. All the rolls were great. The jalapeño popper roll is like nothing I've had before at a sushi joint. Comes out warm with a jalapeño on top. Lemon tuna roll was very refreshing. Don't add soy sauce. Just enjoy the flavors. Then the hot sb roll. Has a charred outside which adds a smokey touch to the roll. Only downside was the place got very loud when it filled up. But the food made up for that.

Service is amazing and very relaxing ambiance by the water !!! Amazing views can't wait to come back for more.. Ooops forgot to mention the Thai Donuts are a MUST !!

We ordered takeout and it definitely satisfied our cravings. We ordered about 7 sushi rolls and a miso soup. A very big menu and everything tasted delicious. Brickell prices, so can't expect much. One day I'll probably go and dine in to get the in house experience!

First of all, this restaurant is on DoorDash but doesn't even deliver through doordash. Texts ur number asking if u want a human or robot to deliver ur food lol. After it got delivered I checked door dash and it said the food was still being prepared. It was not like this prior when I had ordered through DoorDash. I have given this place 5 stars before because I had a good experience. Now I will give a 1 because they decide to give me a spicy tuna roll with stale rice. The rice tastes like it is 2 days old. The tuna isn't spicy. They give u a side of spicy mayo and it also isn't spicy. Doesn't even taste good. I've never had a spicy mayo that doesn't taste good. Got my roll delivered and threw it away after I had two bites. Won't be ordering again.

Ive always gone to obba for lunch, but finally made my way there for happy hour and it was great. They have rolls and champagne for happy hour and it was a great time! The rolls never disappoint, they are always so delicious and rolled to perfection.

I picked this place for its location. Although it was pouring rain and the view wasn't as magnificent, we did enjoy their sushi rolls and beautiful decor. Parking was on the street, metered. About $3/hr.

You might be a bit hard pressed to locate this restaurant as its hidden in Brickell. Stopped in on a weekday for lunch and was seated immediately. The music here is one millennial bop after another so I was having a little concert at the table waiting for the sushi. I ordered a salmon crunchy rice less roll. Well presented however a bit softer than I am used to and I expected the whole role to be fried through. Would come back and try another roll for lunch. Saw some families, and friend groups so it's a healthy mix of folks. Loved taking a walk by the water afterward. Servers wearing masks and I always like when the servers take credit card payments at the table.

Very warm, serene vibe with neutral tones. Definitely the kind of place you'd come to unwind and just enjoy good sushi without any chaos. Parking: Street parking is available, but it is paid, so keep that in mind before pulling up. The servers were very helpful and kind overall. My only complaint is that food came out a bit slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy at the time. Like serve me all my orders all at once pleaseeeeee so I can indulge lol What I Had: _________________ Sashimi Assortment - 10/10 Freaking delicious. Light, decadent, and incredibly fresh. Each piece tasted clean and high-quality, the kind of sashimi that melts the second it hits your mouth. They did their thing! Kanpachi Sashimi - 10/10 So good. Soft, delicate, and perfectly fresh. Every bite was balanced and flavorful without being heavy at all. Nigiri - White Fish Tasting - 11/10 Hands down my favorite part of my experience. I ordered multiple rounds (they come two per order), including branzino and snapper. The branzino was unreal. I wanted only branzino... that is how marvelous it was. Topped with this umami crunch that added so much texture and flavor. It was literally mouthwatering, like a burst of flavor in every bite. I honestly could've kept ordering this all night. Nigiri - Bluefin Tuna Tasting - 5/10 This one just wasn't for me. It wasn't fishy, but the texture was very slimy and didn't sit well in my mouth. It didn't swallow smoothly and just wasn't appetizing to me personally. Definitely a pass. Blue Crab Hand Roll - 6.5/10 I know this is a fan favorite, but it was just okay for me. Not bad at all, just didn't wow me compared to everything else I had. For $6, it's fine, but I wouldn't rush to reorder it. Customer Service: 8.5/10 Friendly and helpful, just slightly slow. Overall Experience: 9/10 Will I Be Back? Yes, absolutely. This establishment has been TAMIED™

Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

All the plates and dishes were just so stunning. The other thing that really stood out was the service. They were so friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate when servers know their menu well and are able to make suggestions. I can't remember my server's name, but she was just top-notch. We ordered: - Miso soup, (served in a charming, Japanese chawan mushi cup) the flavor was really good and strong. (I hate it when it's weak) - Spicy dumplings. They tasted homemade. Yummy - Shrimp shu mai, good, tasted as it should - Tanaka roll, with extra crispies on top, (I was not a fan because I did not expect it to be deep-fried. if it had not been deep-fried, I would've liked it.) - Peking duck served in an impressive three tier tower that looks like a round Chinese Temple. - Pork Belly Bao bun, this was also a miss for me because I expected it to taste like barbecue, but it was just really salty like they used a lot of brown salty sauce. All in all, I really enjoyed this restaurant, even though I didn't like those two items. Bec But, because of the excellent service, the atmosphere and the beautiful way they served the food, I decided to leave them a five star review. Those dishes weren't bad they just weren't what I expected. We don't live in the area so if we were to stay in this hotel again, we would definitely dine here again. I'm not sure what they add to it, but it is delicious. If you have room for dessert, the fried milk is interesting because it has several different flavors and textures you can combine. We normally check the Michelin Guide first but there's none for Miami so we decided to browse through Tock for fun. This was how we stumbled upon Sushi Bar and we are so glad we did! The price point of $185 per seating is super worth it. You get a lot of fish and they are very creative with each nigiri. Their spin on it shows their creative side (with Miami flavors) but is not super over the top and sauce does not drown out the freshness of the fish. Something that stood out to me was how they shaved frozen monkfish liver as a topping. I wanna go back just for that!! They also had some pieces where they smoked the fish. Besides the food, I thought it was very creative how they welcomed guests with a welcome drink at the hotel bar. This was so unique! We finished ours early, and had some of their other drinks - they were all very good! Once they're ready, a server came to get us from the hotel bar and led us through an alleyway to a separate building which was where the actual omakase was taking place. The atmosphere was dark and gave off speakeasy vibes, which I thought was different to other omakase places. Bar is spacious enough to still have private conversations. We did the beverage pairing and we really appreciated the sommelier's knowledge. Overall, we would want to come back again for another tasting experience!!
