Lazy Boy Recliner Reupholstery…read more We were given this chair by my parents after my mom passed away. It had great bones but needed some help. It was old and pretty rough looking. Cleaning it did nothing to help it. Let me tell you when we picked up the chair...just WOW! It literally looked like a whole new chair. It was absolutely beautiful. Excellent craftsmanship and detail. Mr. Holmes even took the time the make sleeves for the arms and a cover for the headrest. He said he would do arm sleeves, but I didn't expect them to be so well-fitting. The fabric pattern was so perfectly lined up all around too. If you want an expert job at a great price, professional and friendly service, don't go anywhere else! Thank you for bringing my Mom's chair back to life!

My business will go elsewhere from here on out. The woman up front was RUDE and had a nasty…read moreattitude. After talking about her hair and nails with another customer, she rudely asks me "Why you come in here at 4:30 we about to close?" The place doesn't close until 5 and I was just placing an order, not asking for same day service. When I told her what I wanted, which is the same thing I have gotten done two times before at this location, she told me no, that's too much to put on here. I have literally gotten the exact same thing done twice before with no problems. I then spoke with her supervisor who excused this severe lack of customer service by saying that's how she talks to everyone. When I am spending close to $200 on a gift from my company to a Veteran, I at least expect common courtesy and decent customer service. Never again.

Ballash Woodworks is a great, obscure date experience. This unique craftsman's workshop is owned…read moreand operated by Mr. Kurt Ballash and family. Kurt has an interesting story. Check it out on his website @ ballashwoodworks.com. So basically you can book a workshop, via the website, to "hands-on" learn how to build, craft and design a wooden product from raw materials to finished product. This involves picking the materials and using all of the necessary machinery to complete your product. Our niece scheduled this outing for her, her parents, the wife and I (The 4 Amigos) to partake in a couples crafting workshop; thanks JT. Be warned, this experience is not for the faint of heart. You should really be prepared for the following: * If you go in the winter time, you will be cold. So dress accordingly! * This is a real, fully functioning place of work. It is not fancy! So dress accordingly! * If you are weak, clumsy or both, don't go. You can get hurt. (No one was injured during our workshop) * If you are uber sanitary, don't go! Bathrooms would not meet your standards. * If you are unable to stand for long periods of time, don't go! It is mostly standing room only. Now with that being said, if you are adventurous, good with your hands or like to try new things... RUN book your session immediately. Sessions includes access to materials, equipment, guidance from experts and lunch. Think of this experience as Sip and Paint without the paint and certainly without the booze. My group and I had a great time! Kurt and his team of experts were awesome!! To be honest, pictures are worth a thousand words, and that could not be more true than in this case here. Enjoy the photos :) Recommendation level - Very High
