My child has been here several years since Pre-K and the school has been amazing. There is a waitlist usually for both the preschool and grade school, make sure to register early. You could not read her writing It was so illegible, she was kicked out of public school many times because they consider her " a behavior problem." although she was the one that was being bullied kicked down the stairs at one school and her hair ripped out. enough of that. I cannot tell you enougth the Cape Academy is amazing. she reads at grade level, she can spell, and you can read her handwriting, and she loves loves loves going to school! she used to cry every single day It was a challenge to get her into the car and go to school. I don't know what the magic is at this school, but I can tell you something I have observed. Miss Brianna her teacher for the last two years, Genevieve put it this way when making a comment about her..." she is soft, and hard at the same time." that was your way of saying, Ms Brianna make sure that they get their education, but she does it with patience, with love, understanding, and appreciation for every single student. The owner of Cape Academy, Miss Kris, must have been straight flowing down from heaven. there are now more than several private schools in lake county and so forth. My great nephew, Genevieve's brother, goes to another one right up the street. He loves it so I keep him there. but I do not believe he's getting the kind of education he would be if he was at Cape Academy. So you understand? You get it? This is the best school in the universe.

The school district of Lee County is very, very good. They do the best with what they have due to…read morethe declining enrollment due to the exodus of people OUT of Cape Coral in the current housing depression. I have heard nothing but good things about them and they even have busses that come and pick up the kids in the mornings unlike my neighborhood in San Jose where you have to drive them everywhere. And the kids don't have to be at school until around 9:00 because Lee County knows that kids don't learn as well early in the morning as they do after some wake-up time. If I had kids, I would seriously consider moving back to Florida to school my kids because of the schools, the schools attitudes and the excellent sports programs that go on year round. I don't see many fat kids in Cape Coral like I do in San Jose.
