I have been a patient at doctor's plus airdrie for many years. Over the last 3 years I have seen…read morethe efficiency of the office deteriorate. All the doctors I have had were great. e.g. One doctor recommended I see a specialist and indicated he would have the office arrange an appointment. After not hearing after 3 months, I phoned the office and asked what was happening. They looked at my file and said that the request had been overlooked by the office and they acted on it. I more recently was sent for x-rays and ultra sound for a back problem. After a week I had not heard anything. I phoned the office and was told the fax machine had been down for 4 days and they expected it to be fixed the next day. Hard to believe they couldn't afford to buy a new one. I was then sent for blood work. After 5 days of not hearing anything, I tried to phone the office to check. 3 to 4 times per day over a 3 day period I phoned and could not get an answer on the phone. I went in to see what was wrong and was told the computer system was down. Having run a business for many years, I wonder how this outfit stays in business. I guess that is why there is such a turnover of doctors there and is mostly left to walkin patients. I am considering moving to a different clinic. Dissatisfied

She was professional and spent allot of time chatting and was nice to not feel rushed. It's a brand new clinic in the NW and they are taking new patients, which is great. They also have an on site pharmacy , which helps for prescriptions and plenty of free parking.

They were wonderful and incredibly helpful as soon as I walked in and made the whole process easy. I only had to wait maybe 5 minutes before being brought into the back. They also have the pharmacy inside which is AMAZING! Again, I only had to wait maybe another 5 minutes for my prescription to be filled. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend!

However I was told the Dr was not taking patients because he has paper work to do. And then was told if I need a doctor to go to the emergency room. The emergency doesn't need to be filled up with non-emergencies. Hence why there are clinics open late.
