The staff were all very friendly (looks to be a family establishment). We were in search for Iskender (not all places have it) but we didn't see it on the menu (though there were plenty of other tasty sounding choices). Our server was very helpful and pointed out their special. Their version is made from ground meat instead of the more traditional Döner. This was even better! And the tomato sauce and yogurt were not all runny, which was also a plus. All in all, if you're up for a delightful dinner experience and some excellent food, I highly recommend a stop by. It was also easy walk from the Nr.5 tram stop at Sanderring.

Right off the main drag, it's far enough away from the touristy stuff to have some character and isn't stuffed with people. The lamb kebab was done well, very juicy and flavorful. It came with a fairly ambiguous rice and a veggie mouse that was amazing. Our appetizer sampler plate came with a rainbow of spreads including a super yummy hummus, two yogurts (mint and paprika), egg plant puree that was the plate favorite and a few small neebles. We didn't get to try the dessert because they fed us well. Would definitely come back.
