If you were considering seeing Dr. Jennilyn Wetzel, I would tell you to RUN - not walk - away as…read morefast as you can! Whenever you call to make an appt you're on hold waiting 45 mins sometimes, and no I'm not exaggerating! One time I went to see her because I was suffering from terrible constipation. I seriously woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall back asleep. I thought I was dying and called the ER who said to check with your PCP. I saw her, gave her my symptoms and she essentially belittled me and made me seem like I was crazy and not sure what I was talking about. I was giving her MY symptoms! I know what's normal and what's not! What I was experiencing was NOT my normal. During our conversation, I asked to use the restroom and my stomach hurt really bad. She ignored me and kept talking. She then had me get up on the table so she could feel my stomach, again I asked if I could use the restroom and she coldly said, "Just get up on the table!". Now if your patient is experiencing debilitating constipation, and they ask to use the restroom suddenly, wouldn't you want them to go?!? At the end of the consultation, all I got was a copay and a referral to a receive an x-Ray. Nothing to tell me how to relieve my pain, medicine such as laxatives, nothing.

Dr TheoHarris seemed decent enough until it came down to the internal exam. He did the front as…read moreexpected and seconds later he took a different digit and went into my back. Let me tell you in my decades of going to OBs and getting an annual physical I have only had a front exam and this brute of a OB went in as if it was completely okay and normal. I felt beyond violated and disgusted and assaulted that I wasn't even warned or informed that the rectal exam was to come. I called Henry Ford office to let them know how very displeased I was. As a first time patient it is best to give your patient a heads up on what you are about to do during the exam before making them feel violated. Needless to say I was beyond put off on ever letting this Neanderthal of a male doctor ever touch me or see me ever again. He needs to work on his bedside manners immensely.

The whole unit is dedicated to pediatrics, with different pediatric specialties under one roof, which makes it even more convenient for families. The hospital is spotless, easy to access, and has convenient parking. It's very kid-friendly, with cheerful children's pictures, and a TV playing favorite kids' shows that kept our little one happily occupied while we waited. The staff were warm and welcoming, which immediately put both us and our child at ease. Dr. Rajesh was friendly and great with kids. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made the consultation both reassuring and informative. Our visit lasted about an hour, including the initial check-up, dilation, and consultation. We appreciated that they told us upfront to plan for up to two hours. Even with the waiting time in between, the environment was pleasant and well organized. Overall, an excellent experience for families seeking specialized pediatric eye care.
