While this does not change any of my experience, or my hospital rating at all, it does solidify a fact which I already knew, that Dan is an upstanding human being, and is one of the very few positive aspects of the facility. At times it feels as if this is designed to run in factory manner. If you are being sent here carefully get a complete list on authorised personal items. It is very strict and little is allowed on the floor. Yes there are kind prople working there. However do not expect any meaningful therapy. It is a holding house until the crisis passes. It is a Behavioral Hospitals that operates on B.F. Skinners philosophies. If not familiar do familiarize yourself with this style of treatment. There is NO psychotherapy practiced.
