The choirs are really good and sing a mix of traditional hymns and what you here on gospel radio stations. Rev. Dr. Watson preaches sound biblical messages in a story-like fashion, in cadence and at times with call and response. What I really like is that the Pastor and his wife stand at the back door and greet everyone as they leave. There are two services, we attend the 9:30am service as the 7:30am is too early. We enjoy the worship experience First Baptist provides.

But what makes it harder is when you have eveything set up so you can try to say your good byes and move on. But you have someone tell you, oh sorry I know your family choose this day and have everything set up for your goodbyes to be told that its been cancelled. No not a few days or even a day before the funeral but an hour. Like wow how do you tell the rest of the family, or friends that the church decided to cancel it an hour before it started. Like who cares that you already drove hours or have something else planed after for the family. You don't get to say your goodbyes yet, now you have to wait a whole another week because Watson wants more $$$$ out of you because it snowed, and don't care that you said you and your family will clear the parking lot of the snow because you want more $$$, like a family doesn't have enough to worry about losing you a loved one. Mr. Watson didn't cancel the other event they had going on that day at the church, but canceled our time to say goodbye, when the parking lot was cleared of all the snow. They already got $$ out of you to have the service which they are not buring him due to he was in the service. But not only do you keep your man who faught for your freedom locked up in a freezer even longer because of your greed you also keep someone who was a paster at your church that you owe rescept to, but instead you were greedy. I hope that you do not pick this place to say goodbye to a loved one because they do not help the family in making it easier but they actually make it way harder and could care less all because Watson wants $$$ to put in his own pocket like he didn't already make $$$ of us for his service. Sorry for your loss, but please pick some where else for your goodbyes and their resting place. Unless you want them to sit in a feezer for over 2 weeks and not rest in peace. R.I.P

I feel Pastor Drew is awesome in many regards but he kicked my issues down the street like a can and I had to move on. I am saved but hardly soft and desired a conversation to discuss a Lift member making threats and brandishing weapons in Church. Turning a blind eye was not what I had in mind but the gunslinger sits proud every week at Lift and is even counseled for his anger management issues by the Pastors. Not the crowd I can feel comfortable in. A closing note. Of course Drew approached me to remove my post which I will not. The responsibility of a Pastor goes well beyond a pep rally every Sunday and the responsibility should be taken seriously. A Church that entertains, encourages no change 2
