We recently had the water heater replaced because we had a "contract" that saved 10 or 15%. Well…read morethey came in and did the work. The kid did a fantastic job but we were charged $2800 for a $17-1800 dollar job. Called in to ask why it was that price when 2 other places we called both said the same price, $1000+ cheaper. Took the manager I guess he was 2 weeks to get back up with us and he said he had to do research on how competitive the pricing was and kept trying to explain there quality of parts and service warranted the cost. Well my wife wouldn't accept it and they finally refunded us $250. So we cancelled the contract and just had another plumbing issue and used Drain Chasers Plumbing in Georgetown and he was fantastic. Super nice, and a private owned business. Sean from Drain Chasers was who we had just come out and gave me his personal cell phone number for if any other issues arise.

I got very ill from gas in house. After 2 days they put sealant on gas lines. They said everything was fixed. Why they went out and messed with my ac to fix furnace is beyond me. They caused a 3 yr old ac unit to stop working. It had worked perfectly till they touched it. Gave me a price of $332 to $2,700 to fix it. Something they screwed up. They also burned up my thermostat. I have hired another company to fix it at half the lowest price. Never hire this company for any repairs. Besides screwing everything up I could have died from gas exposure. I demand a refund!!

From the time that Joel visited to the installation day, they have been nothing but straight forward and professional. The day of the install they showed up on time and went over everything that they were going to do. They said it would take up to 4 hours, but it took them less. I really liked that they were all setting up their work before the city showed up to cut the power. Everything went smoothly. When finished they went over something's and answered all my questions. They even assisted me with setting up the app. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for electrical work.

My husband and I had hired all American to upgrade our electrical panel when we purchased our home…read morein Dover last spring. They were very nice, respectful, and the overall experience was great. Until, a few months later my uncle was in my garage and he noticed something about our electrical. He called my husband and myself over and asked us a few questions. He then explained to us that several of our outlets and switches in the garage/laundry room were wrong; He explained that my 15amp outlets are on a 30amp breaker labeled (by all American) as water heater. But our water heater is gas. Not only is this against code but highly dangerous, as if anything sparks or overloads the breaker won't shut off. I called all American electric and explained what we found. Thinking that since they had been so great that they would come out and take care of this mistake/over site. The representative agreed this was a problem then The representative on the phone told me it was not their responsibility and when they installed the new panel they don't test to see if the labeling was accurate on the old paneling. (Which by the way they were checking light switches, asking me did this turn on the bathroom is it off now etc... sooooo, they did confirm and check some of it) The representative then tells me "we will come out free of charge to give you an estimate to change out the breakers and see what else" So I repeated it back to him and said I'm confused. This was an error, and that it never should have been installed like this. Where he doubled down that it wasn't their problem basically. This is a huge safety violation and I don't even want to imagine. So needless to say at the moment we have the outlets taped off until we can have this fixed. I'm so very disappointed it what seemed to be a wonderful company. I was hoping they would make it right and do the proper thing and stand by their work. Unfortunately that was not the case.
