We've spend 60 euro for 3, that includes a plate, a soft drink, and a Café Gourmand which had a lot of choices inside for a dessert, and the idea of eating a half and a half is quiet excellent. What is it ? Well on your plate you can have a half pizza, salad, gratin, etc.... So you don't have to make the choice between one of them you can eat a part of this one or this one or maybe this one wait why not this one, well you've understood it, YOU have the choice ! And the price is correct while quality is present, so we can say that the client is the real Winner ! Food was good and I'll turn back a day or another, but I don't have to forget to make a reservation if it's Friday or Saturday night. But…read moreI was told this was the best pizza in Valence and by French standards it is a pretty good pizza. 75% of quality pizza is determined by a good crust, and France does amazing things with bread, so I don't understand how they mess this up. The crust is as flat as cardboard (almost everywhere i've been in France does this). I love a good thin crust but this off the mark for achieving a nice char while still staying light and chewy on the inside. I ordered the margarita and for some reason that comes with mozzarella and some kind of shredded cheese (probably emmental aka swiss). This is another typical French mistake. The best thing about this pizza was the sauce, which was pretty tasty, certainly more flavorful than most of the other places I've tried in town. The service was quite good once I got seated. The reception downstairs told me to go upstairs and told me a number. Having never been there before (and not being French) I didn't fully understand the system and ended up waiting 5-10 minutes at the top of the stairs until I asked what was up. The number was my table number even though they aren't visibly labeled. Oh well.
