"I'm on my way to be commissioned in the Navy after my surgery with Doctor O'Hanlon"…read more I came to Somers Podiatry in the Fall of 2017 to have my feet evaluated. Not only was I greeted by staff that were friendly, I was given detailed assessment of my condition with my feet by Doctor O'Hanlon. He is a professional and I could tell he wanted me to truly understand my condition. I learned I had pronated feet, which if kept on the trajectory they were on, would leave me severely crippled when I get older. Luckily, Doctor O'Hanlon told me of this severity and recommenced a surgery. Doctor O'Hanlon showed me how he was going to fix me. My right foot was worse off then my left foot so the surgery was decided to be done on this foot first. He heavily recommended a 'Hypro-Cure' aluminum stint emplacement. This was a minor surgery that was relatively painless and quick. I was left on crutches for a couple of weeks and was able to walk soon after that. To be commissioned into the United States Navy, an applicant must pass a medical screening. At first I failed the screening with my pronated feet in the Fall of 2016. Doctor O'Hanlon performed my surgery in the Winter of 2017. On my request, he wrote a letter of recommendation with the added credibility of being a reserve Naval Lieutenant himself in the past. Then after having some extra time to be re-evaluated, I passed their screening in the Fall of 2018. I am forever grateful to Doctor O'Hanlon for his work and dedication to his patients, like me. My right foot after the surgery feels way better than it did before. I am now living the best life I can thanks to Doctor O'Hanlon. Regards, -Alex Wagner

I have heard this from a number of people and experienced it for myself. A real ego on this one. Not the type of man I'd want performing care on my loved ones. Steer clear.

I have to have to have to say Dr. Viscovich is the BESTTTTT Podiatrist ever! So I have been to 2…read moredifferent Podiatrists when I lived in Yonkers. Both my 2nd toes on both feet (by the way which WERE longer than the big toe) had cysts in them and the nail bed started to deteriorate and the toes were red and swollen to a point it had begun painful to walk in any shoe I would wear. The first male podiatrist I went to in Yonkers just looked at my feet and gave me an ointment to apply at night. Ok so I did that and nothing worked. The second podiatrist was a female doctor in Yonkers and she would give me injections for the pain and told me the injections is the only thing that would help. What do I know I'm not a doctor so I went with it. For a whole year I was getting those painful injections. I moved to Somers 3 years ago and hadn't seen a Podiatrist due to my busy new work schedule, until this year when my toes started acting up for the worse! I called my insurance company for a new doctor in Somers and they gave me Dr. Viscovich! ON MY FIRST VISIT he told me I needed surgery (toe reduction) on both toes! I'm like WHY NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIS! he said my toes are only gonna get worse if I don't do the procedure. So my first surgery was 4/2/19 on the left foot and then 5/14 for the second foot. Both procedures were painless I didn't feel a thing. It was a little difficult to walk obviously BUT I was back to work in 4 days and both my feet are PERFECTTTTTTT and no pain or cysts or anything else! I'm so grateful for Dr. Viscovich and his staff are absolutely amazing!! I have already made appointments for my Boyfriend to see him and my Daughter n Law has also made an appt with him to! I highly recommend him and will forever be my Podiatrist!

I treated me as if I were faking the pain to stay out of work. He was dismissive, made no connection with me and acted like he didn't care about my pain. I went back to the doctor two days later still very swollen and in excruciating pain and he sent me to Dr. Levin at Somers Orthopaedic. This is where I met Scott M. Levin, M.D., F.A.A.O.S. Let me say that the facility in Carmel makes you feel like you are a celebrity. They have valet parking! It's clean, modern and a pleasant to be in. Dr. LEVIN is the BEST! He is extremely thorough. He listens, I'm mean he REALLY listens to you and addresses all concerns. He asks questions about your daily routine and considers how you may need to adjust it and how he can support that until you recover. He works with you and your life situation, (work, transportation,...). He shows you the x-rays and explains everything. He answers all your questions. He takes everything into consideration, weight, previous injuries, work circumstances, etc. I can't say enough. He also works in other locations and will treat you there to accommodate your situation. Unfortunately, I was recently hit by a car while crossing the street and am back for treatment. After the MRI he personally called to explain the results and to check on me to discuss next steps. I couldn't recommend anyone better! You will not regret choosing him. D. Vaughn
