Gadbad Chaat

Really enjoyed the food here! The chaat was fresh and flavorful, and the chicken tikka was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was good and lots of seating.

Samosa - deliciousness

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. The interior is spacious and well organized. It's clean and fresh. Service is topnotch. The manager was constantly checking on us , recommending some good options as we are not really experts in Indian food. Food was delicious and full of flavor.

Cute little restaurant tucked away in the corner of a mall in McKinney. I appreciate the opportunity to sample their food through the Yelp event. The restaurant was aesthetically pleasing and the service was pretty quick. I recommend trying their Naanza, which is a fusion of Naan - Flat bread made like a pizza with Indian curries as the base/topping. Chicken Makhni sauce was particularly our favorite. For dessert, we ordered gulab jamuns which simply melted in the mouth. And lastly, the free drink - mango lassi was the perfect combination of creamy and refreshing.

I placed an order using Uber Eats. I order two chicken kadhai. I asked for one dish to be spicy and the other extra spicy. Indian spicy. They understood the assignment and it was delicious!

ODA in Plano is in my top 3 faves of DFW so when I learned there is a new McKinney location we dropped everything to come. This is is an up and coming spot near 380. The food of course is superb. The menu is modern and fresh. This visit we started with ODA chaat and ohemgee in love. Delish. There is no purely veg selection here so I tried something totally new: Railroad Mutton. The mutton was tender, bone in, and piping hot, with butter naan. My go to is always punjabi curry which my partner ordered. Superb. My companions ordered paneer skewers which were wonderful and chicken biryani (which is the size of 5 servings). Two of us took home leftovers but no one finished the whole plate. So much good food!! Don't forget to grab some yummy mango lassi.

First time trying this gem. Everything was so flavorful and had so much soul in the seasoning. This will definitely my go to spot for authentic Indian cuisine. This is what I ordered: Garlic naan- buttery and fresh garlic pieces cooked in Biryani rice- flavorful and fluffy Meal combo (Dal makhani, Bhutta paneer Simla Mirch)- both were very flavorful and seasoned from the soul Chicken curry- flavorful with a mild depth Tandoori chicken- so tender and full of flavor cooked into every piece Samosa- crispy, pillowy, tender filling

Just enjoyed a delightful culinary experience and the tastes are still swirling around my mouth. Butter chicken was a big hit as was the garlic naan. Other items worthy of note: well, everything on the menu. Service terrific with attention to those who said they wanted a little less spice or heat. The ambiance is modern and very clean. A definite hit for those in the area. Highly recommended.

Disclaimer: Hangry post church The way this place works is you order and then sit down. That part makes it feel fast food like but the plating is more restaurant style. There are two people to take orders up front. Another guest that arrived at the same time was finished with their meal and we ordered at the same time. Our food was late to arrive. Kitchen is busy! I trust this is a soft opening kink...I think the appetizer chaats are worth trying out because of the combination of textures in the dish. The menu items feature chaats/appetizers, curries, indo-Chinese options, special curries, biryani, combos (also featuring family meals). I ordered the chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, mango lassi, and raita. Bummer there is no Chai tea sold here! They do have gulab jamun, moong dal hulwa for your sweet tooth. I definitely want to try the chaats from the appetizer menu! The food is pipping hot, served fast. I will be back here again.

My husband and I tried this spot out for lunch a few weeks ago. I thought it was a traditional sit down restaurant; but it's one of those order at the counter type places. The inside is beautiful decorated; I absolutely love the vibe. The menu is decent with selections. Price point to portions are normal I feel. Everything we ordered was really yummy. We ordered the samosas, the chicken 65, butter masala, lamb korma, and two desserts. Everything came out in a timely fashion. The samosas were great, the chicken 65 was delicious. And with the condiment sauces it was even better. The butter masala was really nice and the lamb korma was tasty. This was a nice spot with fast Indian food.

Chicke. Biryani was good! Really good!

We stopped into this restaurant after hanging out in the Dallas area, and we were immediately…read moregreeted when we walked in. My husband and I had never been to a BBQ joint quite like this before. At first, we were looking around like, "Is this a buffet?" Lol The restaurant has a really cool Western BBQ feel, and you can smell the BBQ smoking before you even walk inside. The meat is weighed by the pound, and we ordered brisket, baked potatoes, creamed corn, green beans, and a brisket-stuffed pepper wrapped in bacon. One of the coolest things is that if you eat inside the restaurant, dessert is FREE! They had peach cobbler, banana pudding, and ice cream. The brisket was AMAZING, and so were the creamed corn, green beans, peach cobbler, and those bacon-wrapped stuffed peppers! We really enjoyed everything we tried. This was such a fun experience and some seriously good BBQ. I can't wait to return!

This has been my must go to twice a year when I visit a friend in McKinney for quite sometime now…read more What started out as the most amazing barbecue I've ever had has unfortunately come up short the last two times I've been there. Back in March I excitedly went to enjoy my usual brisket sandwich and green beans to find out they changed those to an entirely different recipe. Greasy and over powered with bacon and sweetness ruined what once was the best side they had there. Upon my most recent visit back two weeks ago I was hoping to find that they maybe realized they had made a mistake and went back to the original green beans but unfortunately that was not the case. Still those nasty greasy green beans. Eww! Also, my brisket sandwich this time was a no go. I asked for the lean cut but had to pick it apart to remove all of the fat in it which then made the bun super soggy. I was so disappointed again :( I'm not really sure what changes are being made and why but some things just need to stay the same. If it's not broke, don't try and fix it...

First time visiting March (2026)…read more This is my new favorite pizza place. FRESH ingredients, they have to be made daily, the taste is so superior & clean - hands down some of the best pizza I've had! You can tell much love is put into the food Im giving this 4 stars for wait time/service - While I do understand good things take time, I believe they open at 4pm - a couple times I've ordered around 5pm, told could be a 45 min wait that turns to an hr & more. Then you get there, it's not a sitting type of restaurant - you just pick up. I've been there when at least 10 other ppl are waiting as well... it seems they are so good, either a bigger space is needed or more staff to accommodate. I say this also cause the last couple times, a younger lady is checking out clients, seemed she had to be new & somewhat confused as to working the front. Overall must try their delicious pizza!! Order ahead, run some errands, then pick up - is best

Maybe it got cold by the time I came home and tried it? But it's a pick-up only location, and i live like 13 mins away, so idk how to make the experience better. I did see some people getting the sandwich, and they looked really good. I do want to revisit to try the sandwiches, but the pizzas are unfortunately a no for me. The service was decent. The store is a tiny, super cute pick-up location.

My first visit was solo, since I'd been curious for some time. It was just me, a bowl of wonton soup, and some Kung Pao Chicken, and the whole experience felt like I'd been teleported to a cozy spot in San Francisco. Warm ambiance, incredible food, and that "I could sit here for hours" vibe. I ate at the bar, which is by the entrance, people watched and enjoyed my delicious food. Naturally, I went back with a couple friends and my wife... and that's when things escalated. We ordered like we were feeding a small village. Kung Pao (again, because it's that good), House Special Soup Bao, chicken lo mein, pepper chicken, General Tso's chicken, and a bunch of other dishes that I lost track of somewhere between "wow" and "how are we still eating." Every single plate was fantastic. Not just "good for a group order," not just "surprisingly solid," it was legitimately delicious across the board. The table looked like a celebration, and we treated it like one. Every single dish was a great portion size, delicious, and tasted WONDERFUL. By the end, our eyes were definitely bigger than our bellies, but honestly, if you're going to over‑order anywhere, this is the place to do it. I can't wait to go back... though next time I'll try to show at least a little self‑control. No promises. Chef Sun's is officially one of my favorite spots. Great food, great atmosphere, and the kind of consistency that keeps you planning your next visit before you've even left the parking lot. I give this place my Arnold Schwarzenegger - "I'LL BE BACK!"

When we got to out table we didn't know what to expect, The menu was packed with so many options so we tried a few different apps and dishes to share. We went with the popcorn chicken, chicken & shrimp shumai, steamed green beans, and cumin lamb. The popcorn chicken was awesome. Just the experience of it. You're presented with a bouquet of popcorn chicken. The chicken was flavorful and had a nice amount of spice to it. I opted not to add any chilis to my bites as I found the chicken alone to be just the right amount of spice. Would recommend this dish for the experience mainly. The chicken and shrimp shumai was outstanding. One of my friends has a strong dislike of any shrimp dish, but truly loved this. It was perfectly seasoned and so tasty. The steamed green beans were great and had the perfect amount of crunch. While the cumin lamb was seasoned well and tasted great. The only miss was the fried rice. I was honestly surprised that execution was so strong with everything else, but the rice lacked flavor. That said, I'd gladly come to Chef Sun's again.
