Without having him, we would have been lost since we had no connections or knowledge of the Pensacola area. He assisted us with finding marinas that we could stay and get the work done prior to our Gulf crossing to get home. His marine electronics person Charlie was excellent in getting our StarLink and other systems up and running. We also used Mike's captain instruction to educate and teach us the systems on the boat. We thought the pricing was fair and his knowledge invaluable. We highly recommend reaching out to Mike from Revolutions Marine for all your boating services in Pensacola.

I got scammed by some conman when I first PCS'd here. The boat I bought was in serious need of repairs, it was unsafe. They took my boat and turned it into a beautiful working vessel. I couldn't be happier! Their service manager, Bill, communicated with me throughout the entire process and I'm so appreciative of his honesty. If you are looking for a boat repair shop that has a moral compass, this one is it. Upon picking up my boat they even walked me through everything, showed me what came off my boat, showed me what they put on, and gave me a quick class on how my boat likes to get started. I'm thankful! They rock.

I purchased a new Mercury outboard motor from a large national outdoor and fishing retailer in…read moreMiami. After purchasing the outboard I was excited to travel to the Pensacola area to visit my grandchildren and take them fishing. I got on the water with my boat and cranked the pull start then the motor locked up. I called Key Marine on a Saturday and got there nearly at closing time. They stayed and took the outboard and processed the work order. I explained that I was here on vacation and they said that they would do their best to work me in. On Monday they called me and told me the motor had been laid down on the wrong side which caused oil to enter the cylinders and the motor. I believe the retailer laid the motor on this wrong side but now thats just water under the bridge, or in this case, water under the fishing pier. They got the oil out of the motor and they only charged me an hour of their time. So honest and trustworthy. This business is customer service focused, honest and caring. Their efficiency saved my fishing vacation with my grandkids. I can't say enough about how great these guys are! Stellar service! Above and beyond!

One gentleman was nice enough to drive me around looking for an outboard motor when I needed a ride, and the management helped work out a fair compromised rate when we realized we had to stay for longer than we planned as we did necessary work on the motor. Speaking of doing work on the boat, there are a number of very useful professional metal fabricators, a canvas shop, and expert diesel mechanics within a few minutes walk. Grocery stores are within a mile or so, as are Tippy's Tavern, West Marine (closing this month unfortunately), and theres another restaurant called The Oarhouse five minutes away by dinghy. Pelican's Perch was a GREAT find for us, and I very highly recommend it for anyone on a budget needing to do work on their boat.
