Real locals were coming in and out of Unglert's, taking with them some tasty homemade pastries. We got some too! There's a nice selection of goods under 1 euro, some under 2 euro. Good stuff! Unglert, a friendly fellow, saw us taking a photo of his shop outside, so he decided to get into the photo with me, and even gave me a free postcard so that we would remember his charming, tasty bakery. Fabiola, Brian's partner, has brought a little piece of France to this quiet corner of Ireland! Her delicate pastries and exquisite desserts reflect professional training and an artistic eye. They taste every bit as good as they look, too... I am still dreaming about the raspberry tart. Oh, la la. Fabiola herself is a welcoming host and will make you feel right at home as you enjoy her sun-bathed cafe, which overlooks the patio garden and fields beyond.
