There were sushi bars so why not tapas? We decided to stop by without a reservation, so the hostess had us sit in the open lounge area which turned out to be a relaxing spot even as the restaurant started to fill up. It translated into an astounding $56 in US dollars, about half the price of the entire meal. But what the hell...welcome to Norway as it provided a refreshing start to our meal with no regrets. The food came at a reasonable pace beginning with the 59 NOK ($6) Spanish Olives (photo: https://bit.ly/3BKpYBa) and the 49 NOK ($5) Bread & Aioli (photo: https://bit.ly/3Qb2mtY) - both sidling us into a savory Spanish state of mind with ease. It was also a given that we'd get the 92 NOK ($9.40) Patatas Bravas because who doesn't like fried potatoes, especially when they're tossed with fish and egg and drizzled with a spicy aioli? The six plates plus the exorbitant sangria amounted to 1,083 NOK or about $111 in US dollars, a relatively fair price by Nordic standards. We both thought Bryt did a solid job translating dishes so clearly associated with Spain that the place could've been on the Ramblas...minus the $56 sangria. We ordered the tapas menu which included - Serrano, chorizo, manchego, olives, bread, aioli, veal, halibut, patata bravas, celery, cabbage. The food took a little while to come out but once it did - we loved it !! The ambiance is warm and embracing, makes you feel peaceful while you're munching on your tapas :D. The bartender here also makes some really cool drinks, I got the rhubarb&cucumber mocktail, which was very refreshing for my jet lag. Would 100% recommend for someone who likes seafood.

We dined on the patio, which was great because the day was very sunny and created for the ideal patio experience. Today I went back to get carryout, a margarita pizza with added pepperoni.
